Hi there!

I'm Adriana, a 26-year-old from Canada who has recently transitioned from a career in accounting to a life of adventure and exploration. I’ve discovered a deep love for solo travel and am excited to spend the next few years immersing myself in new experiences around the world.

In Canada, I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, cycling, gardening (this is a new one - learning lots, and loving it!), reading, and cooking. Wellness, good quality food, and time in nature are central to my life. I'm 5'9 and strong, with a can-do attitude and an optimistic disposition, exuding passion in all that I do. I’m fluent in English and French, and I’ve been studying Italian for several months.

I’m choosing to volunteer and travel full-time to broaden my perspectives and experience different ways of life. Key areas of interest for me include horticulture, herbalism, mycology, and homesteading. I value honesty, community, sustainability, artistic expression, and learning through direct experience. Spirituality and living in harmony with nature are also very important to me, and I’m excited to embrace a lifestyle that reflects these principles.

Growing up in Canada, I was taught to have a strong, capitalist work ethic and be self-reliant, but I now seek a more humanistic, experience-based path that better aligns with my core values. I look forward to developing new skills, contributing to community projects, sharing in language and culture, deepening my spirituality, and learning from and participating in a more holistic, sustainable, and communal lifestyle.

My travels have already taken me to Europe, where I fell in love with the continent, particularly Italy. I can’t wait to explore more of Europe and the world beyond - making many new friends along the way!

I'm particularly interested in further developing my Italian, as well as enhancing my French. I'm always keen to learn other languages, as well. I am fluent in English, and have a very solid foundation of French, having studied French Immersion all through Grade school. I can teach both.

I can cook and clean and I enjoy working in the garden. I'm strong enough to participate in construction projects and could certainly do so with instruction. I enjoy doing things with my hands, and there isn't much I can't accomplish if I set my mind to it. I speak English and French, fluently.

As an accountant, I have a strong knowledge of finance and have developed a sharp mind for business.
