We are Adèle and Asiane, a duo on a quest for discoveries and adventures! Engaged and curious, we are eager to learn more about diverse cultures and customs, as well as new ways of living and acting for our environment!

My name is Adèle, and I'm 23 years old.
I recently completed my Master’s degree in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Action, as well as a position as an CSR Officer in a company dedicated to the inclusion of people with mental and cognitive disabilities in the workforce.

And I’m Asiane, 24 years old.
I have also just finished my Master’s degree in International Sustainable Development!

After completing our Master’s programs, we decided to travel across South America to experience cultures vastly different from our home country, France.

We are excited to contribute to your project !

Quais são suas habilidades?

Adèle ☀️: After earning a high school diploma in literature with an advanced specialization in English, I pursued five years of higher education.
I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Green, Social & Digital Business, during which I delved into various aspects of sustainable development, such as circular economy, social and solidarity economy, and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Subsequently, I completed a master’s degree in Management of National and International Projects for Organizations, specializing in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Action. Through this program, I gained deeper knowledge of humanitarian crises, advocacy, geopolitics, and conflict management.

Throughout my studies, I was actively involved in volunteer work addressing issues such as student poverty, food and hygiene product collection drives, and meal distributions for the homeless.

I also undertook three significant projects:
• The first focused on reintegrating individuals sentenced to community service into society through agricultural professions.
• The second was a consulting project for the organization World Child Cancer. Over two months, I identified potential institutional partners in Asia and Africa that could assist underprivileged hospitals in providing accessible care for children with cancer.
• The third project, which marked the end of my studies, was an assessment of accessibility measures and their role in empowering individuals with mental and cognitive disabilities (such as Down syndrome and autism).

In parallel with my studies, I completed an apprenticeship and a subsequent fixed-term contract as a CSR Officer in a company promoting the professional inclusion of individuals with mental and cognitive disabilities through restaurant professions.

More generally, I have experience in babysitting, dog-sitting, working as a bookseller, order picker, building caretaker, and waitress. I also participated in environmental awareness workshops, including climate and waste frescoes, and received training in disability management.

These experiences have allowed me to develop skills in communication, writing, project management, and adaptability. They give me confidence in contributing to associative or linguistic projects.

I aspire to expand my knowledge and skills in gardening and construction projects. I am passionate about hands-on work and deeply connected to animals and nature, which motivates me to support farm activities and gain training in animal care. I am also particularly interested in eco-projects, as they align with my academic background and make it more tangible. As a creative individual, I would also find great fulfillment in artistic projects.

Highly invested in human relations, I particularly value the connections fostered in a Workaway exchange. I enjoy working outdoors, meeting new people, discovering unexpected skills, and contributing to impactful projects.

Asiane ⭐: After earning a high school diploma in economics and social sciences with a specialization in Chinese, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality and Tourism, during which I developed and refined numerous hard skills (such as customer and hotel/restaurant management) and soft skills like relationship building, adaptability, versatility, and teamwork.

I then completed a master’s degree in Management of National and International Projects for Organizations, specializing in International Sustainable Development. During this program, I deepened my interest in sustainability and international issues (including geopolitics, gender development, social business, and cooperation management).

Between these two cycles of study, I traveled across Europe to explore its diverse cultures and engaged in volunteer work focused on ecological transition.

Throughout my academic journey, I also led three major projects:
• The first aimed to raise children’s awareness (ages 6-12) about agriculture through an interactive board game.
• The second involved consulting for a Burkinabe entrepreneur to facilitate the international export of local products.
• The third project, as my capstone, highlighted the importance of real estate for social and solidarity economy actors in Paris.

In parallel with my master’s degree, I worked as a Social Entrepreneurship Project Officer in an apprenticeship at the City of Paris, which allowed me to gain expertise in project design and management, impact measurement, and public policy development.

On a personal level, I am curious and eager to learn about everything.
Drawn to hands-on and artistic projects, I aim to leverage these interests through Workaway by contributing to socially and environmentally meaningful initiatives. I also look forward to meeting people from diverse backgrounds to share passions and experiences. I am resourceful and ready to tackle any challenge!
