Hello! We are a couple from the UK, between us we have worked 13 seasons in the French Alps in chalets and now we are on our long awaited adventure around Canada!
We both enjoy travelling and exploring in the great outdoors, whether that's on foot, 2 wheels or by water. We love to meet people and dive in to new opportunities. We're very excited to be exploring such a wonderful country and would be delighted to learn from the people who call it home. Can't wait to meet you! :)

Quais são suas habilidades?
We've both got a lot of experience in hospitality (kitchen, front of house and housekeeping). This has been spread across a range of settings, from cafes, pubs and restaurants to chalets, hotels and hostels.
We're both physically active and don't shy away from hard work and manual labour. We're very practical and hands on, and Abi has got an arty streak. We're happy to work individually or as a pair, but really enjoy working alongside others.

Abi enjoys running, walking and snowboarding/skiing. In spare time she also like to do crafty projects including crochet.

We stayed with Astrid and Felix for two weeks, and had an absolutely unbelievable time. They're the most friendly, welcoming and patient people you could ever hope to meet. Abi and Oli are the pillars of discipline every host needs. They bring serenity to your place and get every task done without hesitation or complaints. They are full of common sense and will always be up for a bike ride, hike, run or adventure in the wilderness. Cannot wait to seer them again! You can never go wrong by picking them.

Abi and Oliver stayed two weeks with us and got a lot done. They worked in the vegetable garden, replaced posts, fed the three sheep and two geese, helped with doing the dishes and cooked a nice farewell meal for us all. Lovely to hear stories of their lives and have long discussions. A fabulous team.

We had a great time on Kevin's off grid island near Youbou on Lake Cowichan. We enjoyed helping out setting up the domes and improving the island, as well as using kayaks to explore the lake.
