Hi! I'm Aaron Tyburski. I love people and thrive dynamic environments within community. I'm a team player with 20+ years working in Film, Theatre, and Concert lighting and power grid distribution for major festivals. I also have some experience assembling solar micro-grids. I have some practical construction knowledge and experience, and am an eager learner.

Hi! I'm James Lynn, Aaron's wife. I am a master tile setter mosaic artist. I followed my dad in the trades 20+ years ago and enjoy working with tile, stone, wood, and soil. I enjoy carpentry finish work, furniture making, basket weaving and time in nature. I was raised in a garden and am eager to play in soil. I love animals, nature, reading, sewing, and fabricating just about anything.

In our free time we love exploring, hiking, swimming, and creating art and fun interactions with new people. During our time here we hope to learn, create new friendships, and be of service to the community. After 25 years in the rat-race, now we want to experience a simple and authentic rural lifestyle, learn more about sustainable living, island building styles, homesteading and want to connect with like-minded souls.

We have both lived in off-grid communities and are really looking forward to learning, connecting with others in meaningful ways, and enjoying the beauty and peaceful energy of the Islands.

Quais são suas habilidades?

James has been a tile setter and a carpenter for 20 plus years. Experienced in framing, tile setting, sheetrock install, plaster repair, molding and trim work, painting, and finish work of any kind, really. I specialized as a master tile setter and mosaic artist.
Aaron has a background in electrical from his 20 years of working as a set lighting technician in the film world. He also has some hands on knowledge of assembling solar microgrids and building temporary off-grid housing.
