We have 4 grown kids (youngest is 21), so we are back doing what we love.... exploring the world!
We have experienced and skills in hospitality, music events co-ordinations, program management, education and social work. However, we are very happy with simple (still important) tasks such as room cleaning, gardening and beach cleaning etc...
We care about respectful relationships... especially with locals in the country we are in.

We loved our time with Jack and Lorraine staying on their property in Texas. The work, mainly helping to build a really cool house, was enjoyable and gave us the opportunity to learn as well as contribute. We speat a week at Justin & Andrea's place and it was wonderful. The hosts are kind and super friendly and shared lots of knowledge about the local area. The property is beautiful and calming situated in a valley just outside of San Gil. An easy bus ride to all local attractions we spent the week living in a yurt and working on the property. We stayed at Santi"s place for 2 weeks and had a wonderful experience. With other volunteers we started each day with some yoga and then chose our tasks for the day. Steve and I had such an amazing time working at this hostel. Roi and Lucie were such lovely people to work for. The jobs were fun and enjoyable... and it didn't feel like work at all. We greeted guests, reception work, room cleans and general cleaning of the hostel.

We had a wonderful experience at this Workaway.

(Relax and enjoy your stay and ...)
We loved our time on Koh Mak staying with Michal & Riam. In completing 3hrs work each day, we had plenty of time to explore the island and scuba dive.
Our work included beach clean up, room cleans and helping out with guests.
