Hey Guys, :)
I’m Annika. I’m currently 19 years old, and I’m from Germany, my native country. I grew up in a small town, which is why I love being outdoors.
My family consists of my incredible parents and my cute younger brother. They are the best.

Some Facts about Me:
I finished school last year with the German version of a high school diploma. I was sure I wanted to take a year to gather experiences before diving into more learning. I decided to split this year into two different parts.
For the first half, I chose to do a voluntary social year in a psychiatry. I moved to Lake Constance and was fortunate enough to meet amazing people and grow from challenges.
For the second part of the year, I’m hoping to meet all of you. My goal is to improve my English skills, learn about your culture, and lend a hand wherever you need me. I’m really looking forward to it.
Over the past few years, I had the chance to gain insight into various professions through a summer job. For example, I worked in a nursery school, a primary school, a bakery, a hotel, pottery painting, and more. As you can see, my interests are pretty broad.

Hobbies of Mine:
I love cooking, baking, and being creative, as well as reading, playing the piano, and taking walks.
In my free time, I also volunteer at a church. There, I do lots of things, such as preparing fun activities for kids of all ages, organizing and being part of camps, creating content for our Instagram profile, representing our youth at church conferences, and more.
That’s what I’m really passionate about. I love working with people of all ages, being helpful, working in a team, and spreading joy.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have very good social skills and experience with all age groups. From young children to people in nursing homes. I am warm and empathetic, a good listender, teamplayer and motivater. I also love teaching people. Through years of volunteering, I am used to taking on many different challenges and getting involved wherever help is needed.
I'm also passionate about cooking and baking. I love trying out new dishes, or when the whole kitchen smells like cinnamon rolls.
I have basic knowledge of renovation work and would be happy to expand on that if possible. Creative activities are very much my passion. From tinkering with natural materials to decorating spaces, I like to bring my ideas in.
