Hello I am Marta
I live in the middle of the forest in the north of Italy, in Ponzone, Piemonte with my dogs Hella , 3 cats Loky,Tyr and Diana, my no more baby wildboar Missy and a beautiful group of hens
I am at the start of my project of a selfsufficent farm and life
In my life i have done many things; i was in the italian Army, travelled in the desert, all around Israel, cheesemaker helper in Ireland, dogtrainer, kennel attendant in a sleddog centre, studied on my own animal behaviour for 6 years and attended a professional course for treecutter (lumberjack)
At the moment I live in a small wood house with nearly everything, but two building are in renovation at the moment.
You will be host in the roulette near the rooster fence (bring some earplugs), you will have a compost toilette outside and we will share bathroom and kitchen in the woodhouse.
I would like this place to become a place with people that work toghether in tune with nature, we'll share meal and every aspect of the life in the nature; will be the possibility to know a near ecovillage with which i start to collaborate.
Note that life here is very rustic and wild and is possible you'll stay on your own for hours or few days
I dont accept smoker but you are welcome to enjoy us and take a break from cigarettes
I eat meat 1/2 times per month, so no problem for vegeterian, for vegans i am sorry but in an isolated place is not affordable to have equilibrate vegan meals

I will be happy to teach you about sosteinable farming, animals, our travels and envelove you in all our project, expecially the permaculture design of our farm, Italian cousine and language
You can try a very basic and wild lifestyle, sleeping under a beautiful sky, in the silent, the only noise is the river!
I am really openminded and easygoing
There are possibility of organised hiking in the near town and to go to a pub for the evening (i don't go outside very often but you are welcome to enjoy me in my freetime whenever you want)
Keep in mind, If you don't have your car you will depend on my movement to see the near town (20km the nearest), on the other side you can explore a huge wild area hiking around, maybe you'll be able to see some wolves.
Ajuda
You will help me in every day task, building a fence, menaging the animals and take care of them.
I usually kindly ask for 3/4 hours (depends from the task) in the morning and for the other time you will enjoy te wild nature, the river and of course if you want to enjoy my company for the rest of the day or help me in other works you are really welcome but is up to you; this is when I am at home, when I am not I need you to keep an eye on the animals; they are very good in managing themselves on theyr own and I am automatising many aspetcts but is always good to have an eye on them.
I need to leave often for work and other business opportunity so your task will housesitting and caring of the animals when I leave

I have the roulotte, with light and a plug for the phone. You will use an outside rustic compost toilet; The indoor shower is located in the woodhouse, which you are welcome to use, but on hot days you can have a revitilising outdoor shower!

Here you can go trekking all around, there is a river in the valley very beautiful, there are young people in a near village organising hike and mountainbike trip where you can also rent an e-bike; in another you can walk with alpacas
As you can immagine I don't go outside very often but there are few cities around where you can go by car if you want

He Has not experience in farming life but he was curious and asked to learn everything, hardworker and intelligent, we had long and really interesting chat during the evening
