Hi world!!,
I'm Raul!! Me and some friend-collaborators starting a project that includes a little garden shop, restore old objects, organic veggie garden, yoga room for workshops and yoga classes, and more...
The atmosphere is friendly and fun, we leave 7 people here, with different nationalities and ages..
We are located in a little village inside of a natural parc called Collserola beside to Barcelona. We are very excited and happy to have the opportunity to make this project. Hope we enjoy and learn together.
The place is 10 minutes walk from the train station to Barcelona (20 minutes trip), and 2 minutes from the little village La Floresta, where there are the usual shops and services.
We are not master of nothing but learners of many things!! then you can learn a bit of: veggi garden, plants care, building and eco building, clean good (ja ja ), yoga, meditation, cook veg, and if any workshop is done during your stay you can take part of it (yoga, cooking, gardening, make bread etc..), and learn a bit of Spanish if you want of course!!
We offer a very little room without windows near the kitchen, may can be a bit annoying when someone is cooking and you want sleep, but we ask for silence after 23h. If you are flexible sure you are happy here!!
We offer also towels and bed linen. Toilette and kitchen shared with other helpers. But this house is big and plenty of common areas for relax, do yoga, read, internet or anything!!
We don't offer meals, only accommodation. You have to buy and make your food. If we make a deal maybe we can offer a bit of money weekly for food and work a bit more. Sometimes we eat or we cook together, but normally everyone do his own plan. Here we are mostly vegetarian or vegan, then we ask don't cook meat during your stay please.
We enjoy and appreciate sense of humor and no susceptibilities please!!

Our property was abandoned for a long time, so we have a lot of work here.
We need easy going helpers, calm and responsible, who know work well and hard, preferably non smokers, (no smoking in all property), and vegetarian (or survive with out meet for a wile..), with skills in gardening, painting, construction, veggie gardening, carpentry, furniture restoration, electricity, etc..
Normally we work 3-4 hours a day, 5 days a week. But we need flexibility about that, some days we can work more and next day free, or work weekend and have days off during the week for example. After breakfast, we start working at 9am and we stop around noon.
After work you feel free to stay in home and do your own activities, go for a walk, explore the natural park of Collserola, visit Barcelona, or just relax. If you like music takes you headphones, here we prefer silence most of the time and normally the people who visit us appreciate tranquillity and silence. During your stay you can practice yoga with us, we have many classes during the week.
We also hope that, as is logical, the helpers keep spaces clean and collected during their stay and general cleaning is done before leaving. Also expected of the helpers to keep common areas clean and collected at all times, because we are sharing space with other people. The cleanliness and general order of spaces, is something to maintain outside working hours, as in any coexistence.
Below you can read some of the daily work that is expected of you, we are forced to detail it due to some experiences and so there are no doubts: sweeping, mopping floors, clean bathrooms, clean the shower and remove the hairs after use, washing the dishes our or others, dry dishes and sort it, clean the stove after cooking, not to leave personal belongings scattered throughout the common areas, clean everything after performing some task, pick up tools and left them in place of origin.
One more thing: The work here is mostly soft and relaxing, but, we have a few bad experiences with lazy people, if we are not happy with the exchange, we feel free to say bye bye..

After work you feel free to stay in home and do your own activities, go for a walk, explore the natural park of Collserola, visit Barcelona city, or just relax. In our village there is a little market every sunday and live music, nice atmosphere with young people, musicians, and bohemians. We have wi-fi but not tv.
If you really like music, take your headphones, here we prefer silence most of the time and normally the people who visit us appreciate tranquillity and silence. Thank you!!

We have a decent wi-fi connection for those working online
Espaço para estacionar campervans
We don't have a private parking, but, in the free parking open air close to our house there is space to parking your campervan. In fact there is a lot of people who use this parking with this purpose.
