Hello fellow travelers!
We are a warm and welcoming family living in the peaceful, small village of Gore, high up in the hills near the town of Idrija. Our home is completely surrounded by pristine nature, breathtaking views, and beautiful countryside – it is the perfect spot for anyone who loves hiking, fresh air, and escaping the hustle and bustle of big cities.
Our household is always lively, and there is always something to do around here! We are looking for good, honest, and kind-hearted people to join our everyday life and help us with various small projects.
What we usually need help with:
Around the house: General daily housework to keep our home tidy, such as washing the dishes, sweeping/mopping the floors, dusting, and general light cleaning.
Garden & Property: Light gardening, helping us maintain our outdoor spaces, and general help around the property.
We want our volunteers to feel like part of the family. We offer a comfortable private room where you will have your own space and privacy, along with a good, reliable internet connection (perfect if you have some online work or studies to catch up on). We love sharing home-cooked meals, stories, and showing our guests the beauty of local Slovenian culture.
If you are an independent, positive, and enthusiastic person who enjoys nature and hands-on projects, we would love to welcome you to our home! -

The area is well known for its hiking and cycling and has some of the best countryside in Slovenia. We are not far from Slovenia`s national park and the well known Soca valley.
