  Welcome to Our Home in Cochrane, Alberta!
  
  We are a family of three living in a beautiful, brand-new house in Cochrane, Alberta, a place known for its stunning scenery and friendly community. We are both professionals and parents to a lively three-year-old daughter who is energetic, smart, outgoing, and artistic. Our daughter attends a French preschool, which keeps her engaged with learning and activities.
  
  We enjoy traveling and often take trips throughout the year. You may have the opportunity to join us on our adventures as part of our family. We don’t have any animals in our house besides a little fish. We are fairly easy-going people, but we are super busy, including our daughter, who has a very busy schedule.

  Our daughter attends dance, art, gymnastics, and swimming lessons and enjoys music, so if you are skilled in any of these areas, it would be wonderful for us. Additionally, you can improve your English skills and learn Mandarin if you are interested. You will experience the rich cultural life of Cochrane, which is very close to Calgary and Banff, and near Lake Louise. There are plenty of activities to enjoy throughout the year, including outdoor adventures in both the summer and winter months.

  Ajuda

  While we have always been the main caretakers, we are looking for a helper who loves children and can assist with both childcare and housekeeping. We will still be the primary caregivers but would occasionally need your help with babysitting once our daughter gets to know you and we feel comfortable. We would appreciate your help with dropping her off and picking her up from preschool in the spring/fall.
  
  The main help we are looking for is with meal preparation and cooking, as we are very busy and not eating as healthily as we would like. We hope our helper enjoys cooking and can help us eat better. In addition to housekeeping, you will also be responsible for some landscaping work, such as mowing the lawn in the summer and shoveling snow in the winter to take care of our yard and the front driveway.
  
  We need 25 hours of volunteer work per week, typically 5 hours a day, with flexibility on which days of the week you work. We are flexible with scheduling and will work with you to create a suitable routine.

  Our daughter speaks English and understands Mandarin. She is currently attending a French preschool, so if you speak Mandarin or French, it would be very beneficial for her development—especially if you are able to help teach her French, including teaching us as parents.

  Acomodação

  You will have a private room to yourself, including a walk-in closet and possibly your private bathroom as well. However, I work from home, so occasionally I may use your bathroom, and my daughter may use it as well. It is in the hallway but is not frequently used as we have our own en suite bathroom.
  
  During your time with us, we hope you treat this like your home and feel comfortable around us.

  Cochrane is a wonderful place to live, very close to Calgary and Banff, and near Lake Louise. There are plenty of activities to enjoy throughout the year, including outdoor adventures in both the summer and winter months. On your days off, you can explore the beautiful surroundings, enjoy outdoor activities, or visit local attractions.
