We had an amazing week with Doug —
such a genuine person with a heart of gold.
He showed us around the area — lakes, waterfalls, and kangaroos —
and even helped us find a job.
He was super flexible with working hours, and the tasks were really varied.

Bellinda did a bit of gardening — simple tasks that she really enjoyed.
Even with my limited English, Doug kept trying to understand me, which I really appreciated 😅.
We played games, shared drinks, enjoyed great meals together, and even relaxed watching TV —
it honestly felt just like home.
Doug is truly a great person, and we’ll definitely see each other again soon in Atherton 😉
