My stay with Angelika was nothing short of amazing. This was my first Workaway so I was going into it with some nerves. As soon as I arrived in Winterthur and at the House, I was greeting with the most welcoming and loving human imaginable. Angelika made sure I was comfortable up in the tent. The work was rewarding knowing what was to come with
… read more the temple. Angelika's passion and vision for the temple was awe-inspiring. Every day I was excited to work with her passion pushing me forward. I will never forget my time here, from our long evening talks over an amazing dinner, to carrying (literal) tons of gravel up the hill. I couldn't be luckier to have this as my first Workaway. I highly recommend staying with Angelika and I can't wait to go back and see the temple in all it's glory when it's finished.

Bakir is easy going. He stayed for 2 month and did a great job in helping me with different tasks! He is talkative, interested, smart and became a Friend! Thank you for everything 🙏🏻

I have had several experiences with Workaway, and this place is one of the best environments I have ever had because of the host, Angelika. She has a passion for this project that is worthwhile for volunteer workers, and she always treats staff enough with everything, like nice food, good accommodations, introducing lots of activities in

The project was sometimes not easy, but I could continue working on it as there were kind and warm people, and we laughed every day during work.
I am looking forward to seeing this place again after finishing the temple! There is no doubt that you will have an exceptional experience at Angelika’s place. It was great to have Nozomu here for 10 days. He is strong, has a lot of skills, fast learner, he also has an interesting live story. He was not afraid to join us one day for a bike tour (extrem sports) in the mountains ;) he is a curious and brave man! It was a pleasure to host him 🤗 thank you for everything 🙏🏻

The stay at Angelika’s home was a beautiful experience of mine. The place itself has a good energy. It is true: Henrik is not just learning quick and has many skills, he trained his brain to think around the corners! I could speak with him about my project and he had often some advice for me. Most of the Volunteers i had, were excellent workers. He is more then this. The only thing he does not like is cooking ;) If you want to give something

Saya was a big help to me. She and her friend Jason did a really great job with continuing building the stone wall. they had the passion to learn and were able to implement it. I was also very happy for the cooking she did and all other smaller hands on around the house. We had fun time playing board games or going into conversations.

… read more holding her dream with great passion, enthusiast and strength! I also have time to build outside shower and a sink too. I cooked as well and enjoy people of the community cooking and sharing meals.
I felt home and have a great support and fun. I had time to go to winterthur to enjoy the town energy. It is very alternative and have interesting places to visit.
I will definitely recommend the community and the project for who is interesting at it. It is a physical work but with great purpose.
