We had a wonderful 2.5 weeks working at Jack and Sandra's in November as our first WorkAway. From the very start we were well taken care of with delicious meals and funds for those we cooked at our home. The lunches together are some of our best memories.
We stayed at their vacation property in Regusse which was an excellent accommodation with

In order to commute to Jack and Sandra's from this location you will need a vehicle which we would highly reccomend as it would have been a shame to miss out on all the amazing areas Provence has to offer. Jack and Sandra went above and beyond helping make sure we had hands on experiences, knew the hours of markets and interesting places we could visit.
They always looked out for us when it came to the work, making sure we were warm enough in the cold weather. We did garden work, wood splitting, painting, small construction projects and some daily animal care. All in all very fulfilling work.
We would definitely recommend them to anyone and hope we can visit again sometime. Thank you Jack, Sandra and Maya!
Aneta and Sid were our first workaway contact, after we became "hosts" this year. What a lovely couple!
Educated, hard working and open for everything - always smiling and no tasks was too difficult . Their flexibility was amazing. They cut a large 80m hedge in our "cabanon" with somehow improvised equipment and tools, organising the work all by

There were various other jobs they helped us with: Painting a the Kota House, a large wood house, renovating furniture ( Sid s speciality) and helping with the daily tasks with the animals ( Aneta s specialty) - disregarding weather conditions. Aneta spoke perfect French, so shopping for animal supplies and translation for the other workaway couple was a well appreciated skill. With their car they also moved around the other workaway couple with no car who came for a shorter stay. They made them welcome and cared for them. We also savoured some tasty meals cooked by Sid and Aneta here at our home. Wood chopping, several trips to the "dechetterie" with our old Peugeot 504, wood chopping, walking dogs ( also dogs on holidays with us), building a toilet hut and covering pillows in the caravane for a future workawayer "home" on our grounds and cleaning guinea pig and turtle enclosures were also jobs they were involved. Getting our small holiday house ready for rentals was also part of their various tasks. They helped the local olive coopertive as volunteers to pick olives, and were very interested to get to know the country and the habits, not only as tourists. Their dog " Bert"adapted very quickly to the lifestile, even played " nanny" for our dogs on holiday and could also stay with us at the end, without Aneta and Sid being present. A big achievement for Aneta with him being a traumatised dog from the Ukraine. Aneta had a talent for dealing with traumatised animals - she started do use her skills also with our adopted dogs. After this long period, they become a part of our family and we were sad to see them leave - I hope they come back, as workawayers or also as friends;
If this lovely trio knocks at your dog, be happy and welcome them!
merci Aneta, Sid and Bert
We’ve spent almost two months with Sandra, Maya & Jack and it has been absolutely awesome. They are such open, loving, friendly and hardworking people, and we loved their stories and generally discussions with them. They took such great care of us that we did not want to leave (hence we extended the stay :)). They basically became our family.

Carola and Marco are a delightful couple and every host can be lucky, if they drive into their place and pop up their mobil home. Their dog Appa jumped into our hard, he is very well educated and became a " nanny" to dogs I took in care whose owners went on holiday.
It was our first workaway experience and this was I think not to top!
Merci Carola, Marco and Appa
You are always welcome back!

But what our stay with Sandra, Maya and Jack truly unique made was their ability to find a perfect balance between hospitality and respecting our privacy. They shared with us the most special places in the area, from local tips to delicious meals and cozy evenings full of beautiful stories.We felt completely free to discover the region and knew that we could always count on them.
All in all, our stay was a dream come true. We can't imagine better hosts and would recommend this stay to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Provence.
Thank you, Sandra, Maya and Jack, for a great five weeks of warmth, fun and unforgettable memories!
We will definitely come back!!!
