We are a family that lives with our four children in a beautiful country, 20 minutes from Lucca and 20 minutes from Viareggio and Camaiore.
The place is nice and is quite near to the sea (20km) and to the mountains.
It's a perfect place for hiking, have a walk, running and riding a mountain bike.
One minute from our house you can rent and ride a horse.
My children are 14, 12, 8, 4 years old.
My wife is a teacher and i am a psychologist.
With us live one cat, two dogs and some chickens.
We are very easy going person and we want just live in peace.
We love meet other person and different culture, we have not television and many books.
We are not vegetarian but we don't eat meet or fish very often, we don't smoke and we prefer to host people that don't smoke.
This place is ideal for couple and person that are comfortable with their own.
When is possible we prefer a minimum stay of two weeks and we prefer people that stay longer.
We love animals and humans : )
We usually wake up early in the morning and go to bed early, especially in winter.

This place is for people that want to have an experience with a family in the country. You can learn Italian with us and the children, start to cook some Italian dishes, enjoy the beautiful country and the warmth of the people.

We basically need a hand in the house, cleaning, organizing, cooking, washing and normal things that a country house require.
Outside there are many works to do.
Now we need a lot of grass and brush cutter. Every day feeding the animals, planning and taking care of the vegetable garden, building and repairing things, stocking the woods, cutting, cleaning and other infinite little things.

We have a room and a bathroom for guests in the same house. In the room there are some wardrobe so it's not very big but it's comfortable for a couple. We eat together and we share the food. We appreciate if you want to cook.

Our house is in Valpromaro that is a village on the "Via Francigena" () , so from here you can walk through the hills and rich town like Lucca or Camaiore. In about 20 minutes by car there Viareggio an its beautiful beaches and sea.
The village is about 10 minutes by walk and you can find a grocers, butcher's shop, pharmacy, doctor, church, pilgrim house.
We live near a horsemanship center so you can rent a horse and ride in the "Tuscany riding route".
It's a good place for hiking, walking, running, ride in mountain bike, or simply admire the view.
In a 30 minutes by car you can enjoy mountains "Alpi Apuane" and there are good opportunities for trekking, canyoning, rock climbing and speleology.
Pisa is almost 30 minutes, Firenze 1 hour and 30 minutes.
There are also public transport for the main town (Lucca, Pisa, ect) but not very often in the day and it's stop at about 18:30.
