We had initially planned to stay 1 week with Sue and Max but they kindly let us stay longer whilst we waited to hear back from job applications. Sue cooked us delicious meals each day and we had lots of really interesting conversations and heard all about Sue and Max's exciting travelling experiences! Their daughter, Tash, was really kind too and
… read more offered us lifts to and from town. The work was mainly gardening (when the weather permitted) and we got to spend lots of time with the lovely kids and their gorgeous kelpie, Dusty. We stayed in the caravan which was cosy and warm. Our staying at Sue and Max was definitely unexpected. We broke down with our Van and on the same day they answered back to our request for help and they welcomed us at their place. We spent two amazing weeks with them doing a few gardening jobs and sharing wine and a lot of stories with them. We will be always grateful for helping us in a moment

Our stay with Sue and Max was our first work away experience and was excellent!
We were hosted by the couple for initially one week but then extended to two. Both are experienced lifelong travellers with a depth of knowledge to share and some great recommendations on their favourite places (Thailand and Vietnam)

… read more jobs and household chores which we broke up steadily over the days. Sue and Max also foster a family of four children and they do a amazing and caring job !
On the second week we had the opportunity to go to Fraser Island on the Sandy Straits accompanied by Paddy the dog (my furry best mate )and it was a truly magical and relaxing day.

Staying with Sue and Max was great! I stayed just a few days, but they were so welcoming and kind and I really enjoyed my stay! We stayed with Max and Sue for over 2 weeks. The original plan was to stay for 1 week. So this will give you a expression how much we liked it. Most of the work we did was general household and working in the garden. Which always was on a relaxed pase and in between meals (really enjoyed that part). It never felt like working.
