  We are a Big Family: me (44/Swiss), 1 child (6 years) 1 dog, 1 cat, 25 donkeys, 4 chicken and 3 goats. Since spring 2020 we are living on a 15ha ranch in the middle of the nature, near the mediterranean coast (Costa Brava) and the Pyrenees.
  On a finca with animals, there is always something to do! Feeding, cleaning up, give the animals som love, Fixing things, improving the place, Fencing, taking care of the garden and forest, cooking and much more.
  I love the animals and want to give them a forever home. The welfare of them is very important for me.
  Our live is simple. We live in a small house with solar panels, a little vegetable garden and lots of do it yourself.
  During the summer month (July /August)we will be up in the Pyrenees in our summer camp, offering the trails from there. (More details further on)

  You will have time to hike around by yourselfe, with us or with a donkey. You can join our activities with the donkeys and you can learn a lot about them!!
  
  And of corse if you want, you can learn some spanish, catalan or german.
  You will have also a lot of time to relax and desconnected.

  Ajuda

  As it is sometimes quiet tricky to combinate to look after my daughter and to do everything wich has to be done with the animals, around the house and the finca we are living, i am very happy to get some help. Help with the basic care of the donkeys(cleening feeding), but also to help with my little garden project, with some renovations in the house and on buildings, to play with my doughther and help with what ever it has to be done(cooking, cleaning,...)
  
  You don't need any knowlege about the animals. But it is important to love to spend time in nature and with animals and to like a basic lifestyle. Also it is important that you don't have a problem to work fisicly and sometimes on your own.
  Your daily helping time can vary depending the tasks wich have to be done. There will be days where it is quiet busy and others less.
  Lets say, 2-4 hours of help.
  
  I prefere workawayers they stay about a month at least.
  
  For the summer month middle of june to beginning of september i am looking for people they like camping and mountains.
  
  We will spend the summer month in the Pyrenees near Lles de Cerdanya. Here the temperatures are better so we move the donkeys up there and rent a meadow near a farmhouse. There we sleep in confortable tents and enjoy the simple life in the beautiful mountains.

  Acomodação

  As we life in a very small house, we can't give you a place there inside.
  We offer a big tipitent with all the nesecary stuff to stay confortable and sleep like a king (a 5m tent with woodstove and confortable mattress). If you want, you can bring your own tent or if you travel with a caravan, there is enough space to park it somewhere.
  
  For electricity we have solarpannels and a generator for the washingmachine. In the mountains there is a plug in the farmhouse but no washingmashine.
  
  It is more practical to cook toghether and share the meals. But we don't have any strict rules about that. Provided meals are part of the exchange. Every now and then we have to go to civilisation for shopping. We eat vegetarian, but don't have any problem if you want to buy and cook your own meet.

  There is a lot to do near our home! We live totally in nature but the next city(Figueres)with cultural offers is only 15 km away.
  
  If you like to mountainbike or hike you have also many posibilities!
  The beach is about 30 min driving away, with all the posibilities to swim, kayak, snorkel,.....
  Next busstop is in vilarnadal, 1km from our place.
  
  In the summermonth we are in a more remote place. The nearest village is about 40 min. There is a fresh river next to our camp and it is a beautifull place to do hikes and walks.
