Let me introduce myself ! I'm Gabrielle, young mother and entrepreneur in the most beautiful region of Quebec, Charlevoix. Our company is a family farm (previously owned by my parents) that strives as much as possible towards self-sufficiency. We learn new methods every day to improve and simplify our business and allow us to work in collaboration with nature.
We have been receiving people for 4 years via platforms such as Workaway but we have been receiving interns and exchange students for 30 years - as long as I can remember. We have always loved welcoming people to come help out at the farm, learn everything we know, and put color in our lives. We are already looking forward to meeting you. Everyone is welcome, and all talents are recognized.

We are not looking for any specific type of person - we like to take everyone as they are, refine and add to their strengths. No need to be good at all the kinds of task we may do, I would love to learn from you as much as you learn from us 💕
We are looking for people who like animals and to work in a team, be part of a community and live amongst children.
It would be a pleasure to receive your help doing things such as small construction works (fixing chicken coops, fences etc.) butchery, caring for various animals (our family dog, pigs, sheep, chicken, rabbits, etc.) preparing meals to sell in the store, working the cash register at the boutique and preparing for summer gardens.

Acomodação
Helpers live on the farm at my parent's house. During the summer I also live at the farm. The rest of the year I live in Baie-Saint-Paul, 15 minutes away from the farm. I am at the farm with you every day except Sunday.
In the family house on the second floor there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. The second floor is reserved just for helpers. There is a total of 3 double beds and 1 simple. The communal areas are shared with the host. We provide you with food for each meal.

You can decide if you want to work as a part of the family or in a more distance way.
There is always something to do but you can decide how much and what for work is good for you.
You can always go in the town, bake something or help to build animal shelter.
