  We have bought an old manse with a lot of rooms and a garden. It is beautiful and right next to a church. The two of us are in our 50 and need help in the garden and renovating our beautiful old staircase. Marienfeld is near Bonn 30km and Cologne 40km. We prefer a stay of at least 1 week. The airport Köln/Bonn is 25 km away.

  We are experienced in organic farming and refurbishing old houses. I lived in three eco-communities in germany and scotland. This is a peaceful house and we love a kind interaction. It is so important to discus worldwide about an alternative living to create a better world.

  Ajuda

  At the moment we need help in the garden. We would prefer a person in his/her 30-60. But also a reliable young person is welcome. Our day during the week starts at 7 am when we meet and share and organize our tasks. This meeting is mandatory for our volunteers to organize and update.

  Acomodação

  We have two lovely guestrooms. Our house is next to a church so bells ring during the day not in the night though. We have a young dog, so you have to be pet-friendly, knowing how to handle dogs. Also our daughter Lynn (26) lives with us and is a part of our little comunity.
  
  We love cooking and people say we do it well. We love nourishing organic food but sometimes we have organic meat from the region. We would prefer a person with not many special food requirements when we daily share one or two meals together.

  Our village Marienfeld lies in beautiful nature and is nontheless close to Bonn and Cologne. But we aren't the right place when you actually want to be in a city. One can have long and nice walks in this lovely enviroment. We would expect about 4-5 hours work a day. We are very tolerant and we would like you to work with the willingness to contribute. We love an alternative and spiritual life. So you are invited to be part of our meditations. They are no obligation though.
  
  
  *******At the moment we are looking in particular for a person to help our daugther Lynn to refurbish our Shanti, which is supposed to be our Meditation and Yoga Room one day. Besides she/he could help in the garden, so a garden-skilled person would be great!*********
