We are a family of four humans, Luca (father, 48 years old), Roberta (mother, 46 years old), Blanca (daughter, 20 years old) and our youngest daughter Diana, who is 13 years old; and three nice friendly cats, Cosmo, Jupiter and Lilith.
Diana and I (Roberta) are vegan, Luca is vegetarian and Blanca eats everything.
We can host volunteers no matter what they eat, but we prepare mostly vegan and vegetarian food.
Our apartment is quite small but it has all the necessary: two bedrooms, a living room with a kitchenette, two bathrooms and a little balcony.
Our house is in Rome in a very well-connected neighborhood . From
Ciampino airport, it’s just 20 minutes, while from Fiumicino airport is less than 1 hour (the cheapest way). When you want to go sightseeing in the centre, it will take you just 15 minutes by the underground (Line A Numidio Quadrato Stop) reachable in 3 minutes on foot.
We live in a historical neighborhood known for its huge park, the Acquedotti park, where you can go for a jog, a walk or simple to admire the ancient roman aqueducts: it is especially amazing during sunset! then you can discover the history of Italian movies in Cinecittà Studios, where there’s a museum showing the neo-realism cinema making. Our neighbourhood is crossed by a very commercial street, Via Tuscolana, where you can go shopping find the most famous brands and simply have a walk around shops selling whatever you need.
There are also a lot of buses in the area and a bike lane.
We live at the sixth floor and there is an elevator.

We live in Rome so there is a cultural and historic world to discover! Come practise the language and enjoy the delicious food!
We love history that we studied it at the university, so we can suggest a lot of things to see and to do in our city.

Ajuda
We would like you to practice English with our family.
We expect that you will spend time with our family , simply talking with us or playing games. During the afternoon you may be asked to go with Roberta to teach children English together for a couple of hours or more. We also need a help in the daily duties in the house. You will have plenty of time to discover Rome especially in the morning. We generally plan the week and check details day by day.
We can host for one week, at most 10 days. If the volunteer needs to stay more or less, we can accord in private.
Currently we can host the volunteer in the living room where there’s a comfortable sofa bed.
We can host only girls for the moment.

A sofa bed in the living room where you can have privacy after dinner having your space, internet connection, the television available and the table to work on. Sometimes we can host in the children bedroom sharing your space with my children only if it is more suitable for all. It’s up to everybody finding the best solution for each exchange.

It was my first work away experience and i have already been an aupair and this experience went really bad so i could have been a bit stressed but everything was perfect!
