Help with gardening at our family home in Floda, Sweden

  HOUSE-SITTING
  We are looking for a workawayer that would like to come and help us around the house and our animals. A cat and 6 chickens.
  
  We need help with:
  1. watering plants in and outside the house
  2. make sure the cat and the chickens have food and water every day
  3. clean the chicken house once a week
  
  Rarely happens, but in case:
  During the summer we rent out some of our bedrooms to tourists. Usually it is not very many visitors, perhaps 1-5 in the whole season, but we could use some help also with tidying these rooms and doing some laundry.
  
  The work time expected is about 1 hour per day, Monday to Sunday. So 7 hours per week.
  
  Presentation:
  
  We live in a family house situated 25 km and minutes outside of Gothenburg. We are a family of two adults and two (now teenage) children, some chickens and a lazy cat. ;-)
  
  We have a garden where we summertime grow some vegetables, for ie potatoes, cucumber, broccoli and sallad.
  
  We can offer you a bedroom furnished with a sofabed, desk and a bureau to keep your clothes in. Our house has five bedrooms. On the first floor there is one bathroom, (and a second bathroom in the basement), a kitchen and a living room.
  
  From our house you have a 10 minute walk to the train station from where you can catch the train to Gothenburg or Alingsås when you like.
  
  Next to the train station there is also a lovely lake. It takes aprox 1 hour to walk around the lake. And on the other side of the lake there is a castle with wonderful surroundings, horses, boats, fishing etc.
  
  Unfortunately we don't accept smokers due to allergies. And because of the same reason we also don't want you to wear any perfumes.
  
  Also good to know is that we try to live life with a smallest possible carbon footprint. That means we no longer use Aircraft and would appreciate if you can consider traveling to Sweden also without Aircraft. Within Europe travel with train and buses are real easy. Google InterRail and Flixbus for example. :)

  We live close to Gothenburg. Only 25 minutes with the train. There are lots of things to do. Around here there is a lot of untouched nature which is beautiful to walk around in. There is also a beautiful lake nearby where you can take a swim or fish.

  We would like help with some harvesting and gardening work, but mainly with household work, cooking, cleaning and help around the children for ie help them wash up, accomompany them while playing outdoors, or with writing and reading practice.

  We can offer you a bedroom furnished with a bed, desk and a bureau to keep your clothes in. Our house has five bedrooms and our family uses three on the first floor. On the first floor there is also one bathroom (a second bathroom in the basement), a kithcen and a living room. On the second floor we have two bedrooms and one more living room. One of the bedrooms on the will be yours to use.

  We have good internet connection, but you need to bring your own working equipment, like a computer.

  Espaço para estacionar campervans

  In Nybro there is space for a campervan. In Floda we wouldn't have space for it in our garden, but the street has parking free of charge. So that is an option.
