  My name is Mark and I am representing some properties in Nagano, Japan.
  
  We are based in a ski resort. There is only paid work in the ski season. The work in hotels will require a work holiday visa. No tourist visas are accepted for paid workers. The paid work is mainly working in food and beverage as well as in the ski shop and information centre. We also need help with cleaning, snow shoveling, customer service and social media in English. All paid work in the ski season includes a season pass, meals and accommodation. The hourly rate is 850 yen per hour.
  
  Outside of ski season their may be the possibility of long stays in exchange for work doing maintenance work on lodges etc. Meals will be included in both paid and non-paid work.

  We have a mountain resort area in Nagano and provides an excellent opportunity to meet with Japanese people and learn the Japanese language. The local people are also interested in learning foreign languages, particularly English and learning about the international community. There is also opportunity to do other cultural exchanges for people interested in other aspects of Japanese culture such as cooking and martial arts.

  We require general help in lodges and hotels in a ski resort in winter. There may be a possibility of staying and doing general maintenance and repair work through the summer months as well.

  In winter there is opportunity to do skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hot springs and snow mobile. It is close to many other ski resorts and the world famous snow monkeys as well. In summer the area is famous for hiking, fishing and collecting mountain vegetables.
