I had a great time getting to know Clare and her girls. From the moment I got there I felt very welcome and appreciated. Clare let me decide what I wanted to do every day so I spent a lot of time taking Luna their dog on long hikes and working in the garden. I had plenty of time to relax and work my remote job as well. I spent two weeks with them

Olivia fitted straight into our family and situation as if we had known her for a long time. Olivia has a strong work ethic and prioritises her work accordingly to make sure her tasks are completed and her personal health is upheld. Olivia can put her hand to anything, and i appreciated having her around as my husband was away. I felt I could rely
… read more on her 100%. Whilst Olivia was with us, she had responsibility for the animals, did housekeeping chores ( to a high standard), gardening, played with the girls and became our friend, work out buddy and part of the family.
We really enjoyed hosting Olivia and hope to see her again one day. Totally recommend Olivia to any host.

I stayed with Clare, Bella, and Tilly for about one month, and it was absolutely magical. I helped out around the BnB/house as needed - walking the dog, looking after the chickens, cleaning the common areas, and tending to the garden (to name a few). As well as having a home gym, Clare is a qualified nutritionist and personal trainer - so, I left

Clare and I also took a few wee day trips to some local waterfalls and pubs - she definitely took the time to make sure I got the full Galician experience. Honestly, I would come back to this Workaway in a heartbeat, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to help while nourishing your body physically and spiritually. Marge was thrown into the deep end when she arrived as there was a house full of guests. She slotted into the environment with ease and immediately mucked in as if she had been with us for a while. She embraced everything with no fuss. Marge has a lot to give, not just with her great work ethics but what she personally can pass on. Her common
… read more sense and willing to really help ( without being asked) made our experience with Marge very enjoyable. My girls and I will miss her but we know her journey continues. We highly recommend her to any potential host, she is a strong team member.

I had lovely 17 days with this amazing family. All of them (Clare, Tilly 9 and Bella 11) are so friendly and nice easygoing people. I did some painting the walls, cleaning the windows, walking the dog in the mornings and just general normal house chores. It was proper amount of work and i had time for myself as well hanging at the pool, studying
… read more and just doing things i like. I had my own room with bathroom.
Its a good place for you if you:
- like animals (dogs,cats,bunnies)
- like outdoors
- like healthy lifestyle and healthy food (mostly vegetarian)
- you have your own iniative to do things (without asking) and flexibility
- have great attitude
- like your own space but equally happy to join family activities
- like to learn to speak english

I stayed for one month with the family and it was such an amazing experience for being my first work away. It was good to practice my English and to get to know a little bit of Gallego with the neighbours. Clare is the kindest person and took care of me like a mother with great meals and lots of sweet gestures. Tilly and Bella are the best fake
… read more sisters! The little routine in the house allowed me to have stability while studying online. I experienced British traditions (was lucky to be part of the coronation day), drinking lots of yogi tea and tasting delicious dishes prepared by the best chefs: Tilly and Ben. Luna (the dog)will try to steal your shoe so be careful, but she is the cutest... the cats are fine haha. About the location: it is VERY calm, if you enjoy spending some time in nature this is the perfect place cause you have lots of trails and rivers around the area. Lots of animals. There is a river where you can take a swim very close. Another good activity to consider is a visit to the observatory. Consider that it is pretty isolated so it is best if you have your own car to move around, although Clare can give you a hand when she can.

I really enjoyed the stay for 2 weeks with Clare and her family. Everybody was so kind. From the first moment it felt like a family to me.
