  Hello reader :)
  
  We are Sophie and Olivier, a couple leaving in the national park of Cevennes for six years now. We have a lovely old stone house, a Magnanerie, typical of the area, South of France, not too far from Nimes and Montpellier, with a large garden, and a swimming pool to enjoy in the summertime. The area is very beautiful and there is much to do with hiking, cycling or whatever it has to do with nature.
  
  Sophie is a ceramist taking care of the house and garden. Olivier is a geologist working as a consultant with an environmental engineering firm.
  
  You would work with me, Sophie, during all your staying. I would greatly appreciate if you could bring and share your experience. We need some help with the garden, depending on the season it can go from cutting the trees, to weeding, and constructing some stone terrasses or walls.... There is much to do and we could go creative together by opening new areas and plant flowers for instance. There is also a vegetable garden that I don´t have the time to take care alone, one of the mission could be to launch it again.
  
  We will work up to 4 or 5 hours a day.
  
  If you are interested and want to enjoy the calm and surroundings of south of France please message us.
  
  Please note we would much rather have people coming for at least a week.
  
  For your information we have a very cute dog called Cooper, he is a Border Collie and he is the best companion to have. I am sure you will love him as he is just a very loving and energetic animal.

  Sophie who will work with you speaks French, English, Spanish and Portuguese as we have lived in Spain, Brazil and the US. We enjoy Nature, Arts, Litterature... We have 5 kids, one of them toured the world with a friend on their bicycles, who told us about workaway! So this is a new thing for us and we are excited to meet people. The kids might even be around when you come, who knows ?

  We have plans to landscape the garden with more trees and plants, we need to rebuild an old stone wall which fell along a path bordering the garden, and more.
  The work will be manual and various and depending on the season and needs we will adapt.
  You will never be working alone, always with Sophie.

  Acomodação

  The house is quite big, with three floors. We have four bedrooms on the 3rd floor. Two of them have a double bed in each, and with their own shower and toilet place, both with a nice view. Another one has two simple bed with a shared bathroom. One of these rooms would be the one you will be staying in if you come. With Olivier we live mostly on the 2nd floor, with a kitchen, living room with a fire place, which also has a large sunny deck. It will be the place where we would share meals and enjoy nice discussions enjoying the sun or the fireplace.
  The first floor is an independant appartment for 2 people fully independant which we rent.
  
  We are in a very safe and quiet place, surrounded by nature. First shops are 2 km away. We can lend bicycles if needed. Also, we have a very nice dog, a Border Coolie, about 8 years old.
  
  The three meals will be offered. I, Sophie, will be the cook, but if you want to be part of the cooking time as well, it will be with pleasure ! We buy fresh and local products as much as possible, they are really good. The meals can be vegeterian if needed, and we will adapt to your needs in the best way we can. It will be a nice moment of gathering and sharing for all of us. :)
