  We have a small château that is always in need of "tlc", we restored the Chateau ourselves and are always looking for ways to improve the property.
  
  We have beautiful grounds and veggie garden that we need help looking after. We plant trees every year and look after woodland as part of our wish to care for the environment.
  You need to be hard working and have initiative. Sometimes you will work a long day - but you'll get a day off a week, and time off when we're not busy. You'll eat well and be in a great part of France.
  If you have a clean drivers licence you may also be able to borrow a car.
  
  If you want to improve your English or learn French, then we speak both languages.
  
  We are also interested in a Portuguese speaker for a couple of weeks to help our (grown-up) kids practice. Please mention this in your application if this applies to you.
  
  We are currently looking for someone who loves the outdoors and would enjoy looking after the garden and grounds . So, for example, getting the veggie garden planted, clearing, pruning and planting new trees.
  
  If you have experience of woodland management we would be very interested.
  
  If you are good with painting and other decorating jobs, then that's great too.
  
  During the tourist season, we need help in the house, kitchen and garden. It is a busy time, but you get to meet interesting people!
  
  Our grown-up kids (21 & 18) are usually around to help in the summer too.
  
  If you would like to try your hand at the hospitality business, then come and help out too. Our guests come from all over the world and are interesting and sociable.
  
  Come and be part of our team!
  
  We can usually only have one person at a time - unless it is out of season and you have a particular skill (e.g decorating).
  We always prefer people who can stay longer - we like to get to know people. Two weeks is our minimum stay.

  You'll meet interesting guests and have a sociable time. We can help with your French or English if you want.
  The Limousin is beautiful and there's lots going on in the summer.

  If you can do any of the following, we'd be interested!
  Helping in the house, including cleaning.
  We would like help with painting & decorating please.
  Building skills are also needed, if that's your thing.
  Minimum stay two weeks, but longer stays preferred.
  We are looking
  for help in the Spring/Summer & Autumn and a long stayer for the summer 2024 & 2025.
  You'll eat well and have fun - but we need people with initiative, who can just get on if we're busy.
  Driver's licence very useful.

  We speak English and French at home and are happy to help language learners. Patrick also speaks Portuguese and our kids are keen on improving theirs.

  Private room with shared bathroom - you will most likely stay in the château and share our private family space.
  Early/late season you may be able to stay in one of our cottages.

  Bike available to borrow. Train & bus station 20 minute walk. Lift to Limoges, St Leonard de Noblat or Ambazac where possible. Generally if we go out, if you want to, you come too! We enjoy showing people around when we have the time.
