Hello, I am looking for an English speaking person who can help me daily in the maintenance of the house 5 hours a day . For housing I can offer a room to sleep and the rest of the house is available for recreation (billiards, jacuzzi, sauna, terrace, hammock ..)
Sometimes I go to France and I have to replace myself in the reception of the hosts.
The area is very interesting for its nature (many trails for mountain biking, hiking trails , the most beautiful coves of the Costa Brava at 15 km ... ) beautifully restored medieval villages , ceramics and ceramists of La Bisbal , the quiet atmosphere and at the same time living in the Iberian Peninsula !

The Girona airport is around 30 km from Barcelona to the 150km around , and there are buses that shuttle until the Bisbal several times a day . France to around 70 km .
I am a quiet person,but i am always busy for differants things. I'm going to the ceramic school.
My husband Jean-Michel comes on weekends.

I spent a week with Sandrine and Jean-Michel and enjoyed my time to the fullest. They make it very easy to settle in and welcome you into their lives with open arms. The work was not difficult and I was always asked if the work was okay for me. Also the room I slept in was really great! I will be very happy to come back one day :)

Hannah and Maja's stay went very well. They work well and you can entrust them with any task, they adapt very quickly. They are also very autonomous, you don't need to be behind to manage, you can trust them, they do their best.
They painted walls, wooden beams, cleaned old tiles, tidied up, cleaned and gardened. It helped us a lot.

Konrad spent a few days with us with his friend Erwin. He is very polite and caring. He is a good person, always ready to help. He gardened, painted, restored an old wall and repaired a small space heater that had broken down. You can welcome it to your home, you will be happy.

Hizo varias cosas de jardinería, de reforma de pared, de pintura de bigas antiguas..
Es serio y se dedica en hacer las cosas bien echas.
Cocina muy bien.
La comunicación fue a veces un poco difícil pero por muy poco tiempo, es una buena persona.

Tuvimos la suerte de estar con Sandrine y Jean-Michel por 2 meses (durante la cuarentena del COVID). Si, tuvieron el inmenso corazón de rescatar a dos viajeros recién llegados a Barcelona el mismo día que explotó todo.
Ellos no solo te brindaran un espacio comodo y con privacidad, sino que te incluiran en su vida diaria.
Sandrine cocina como los… read more dioses y Jean-Michel no se queda atras tampoco (ya extrañamos la coliflor!), teniendo ambos un excelente gusto para el vino ;)
Si bien el trabajo no es duro, Sandrine esperara cierta responsabilidad de tu parte lo cual será siempre acorde a todo lo que ella te brindará. Asimismo es muy flexible y reinará la libertad tanto en las tareas como los horarios.
Fue hermoso poder aportar nuestro granito de arena e incluso verlos disfrutar de los cambios realizados.
La casa es un museo en si mismo si sos lo suficientemente curioso, y ni hablar de la cantidad de libros que estan por TODOS lados.
Si te interesan charlas diversas (desde politica, cultura, viajes, etc.) Sandrine es un libro abierto dispuesta discutir y charlar siempre. Si buscas recomendaciones musicales de cualquier tipo Jean-Michel seguro sabrá sorprenderte.
Ojala la vida nos vuelva a cruzar, esperamos poder verlos en agosto por Alemania!

We had the great luck to be with Sandrine and Jean-Michel for two months (during the COVID quarantine). Yes, they had the immense heart to rescue two travellers freshly-arrived to Barcelona the same day everything exploded.
They won't only provide you with a comfortable and private space, but will also include you in their daily life.
Sandrine cooks like the gods and Jean-Michel isn't left behind (we miss the cowlflower already!), they both have a great taste por wine ;)
While the work itself isn't hard, Sandrine will expect a certain responsability from your part which will always be inline with what she provides. Also, she's extremely flexible and freedom will reign over both tasks and schedules.
It was beautiful to add our grain of sand and even see how much they enjoyed the changes made.
The house is a museus in itself, if you're curious enough, and not to mention the books that are EVERYWHERE.
If you're interested in diverse chats (from politics, culture, travels,etc.) Sandrine is an open book willing to argue and talk anytime. If you want some recommendations on any type of music Jean-Michel will surely surprise you.
We hope that life allow us to meet again, we wish to see you in august playing in Germany!

We had a wonderful time at Sandrine's. We didn't stay for long, but I wish we could have. She is a nice lady and a wonderful chef! We helped her learn English, and she helped me with French. Our work was renovating some very old walls upstairs, which was a lot of fun.

They take care of everything and respect persons. They understand quickly what they have to do.
