I need help from April onwards.
I am running a dairy farm and I have as well some sheep and horses. The farm is in South-Iceland 5 km from the coast. Our local town Selfoss is 15 km away and Reykjavik city is within one hour driving distance. My 27 years old son is working on my farm and I need a helper with him. I am also running another business, a wool shop that was originally founded by a group of artisans interested in wool.
Absolut minimum stay is 3 months.
European citizen.

The Workawayer will take part in the local life and there are riding horses on the farm available for riding in the summer. I am a good cook and I am ready to share that knowledge.

I am looking for a person who is ready to assist milking cows and do all the daily tasks. Also being able to help a little with cleaning and being a good company. Drivers license are required. I am looking for a person who is ready for staying minimum three months and is interested in animals and farming.
Good understanding in the English language is required.

Acomodação
The Workawayer will stay on the farmers home and have a good private room, 8 m2. The food offered is a classic Icelandic food, many types of meat from the farm and a very good fresh fish, so every meal is either meat or fish based. There is therefore not an option to have a vegetarian. I sometimes bake bread and even cakes. The Workawayer will have a car for own use.

I have very good neighbors, friends and family. There are many interesting and beautiful places, both landscape and activity within one hour driving distance from the farm. I like to live my life peacefully, I like to communicate with other people and I like very much to travel. I have been a farmer since 1982.
