come and experience THY-LEJREN WITH Us
Thy-lejren is a place established in 1970, started out as a danish version of Woodstock festival, or inspired by it at least; for the last almost 50 years the place has turned into a kind of free alternative society.
We are one of the small families living here.
In our little home, We are a family of four, there is Hector who is a Jack of all trades, an outgoing, friendly and very helpful young man.
He has studied both carpentry and economy, and is at the moment fully engaged in building our own little earthship'ish house, in the small alternative village we live.
Hector is married to Lucy who is a professional singer, and styduing to become a primary school teacher and who also loves to make food and every other form for creativity, she is a mild and kind woman.
Together they have two girls, Àsta from march 2013 and Alva from april 2015
Also we have a sweet dog <3

In Thy-lejren there is always a new and exiting project going on, we ourselves Are building an earthship'ish house, and trying to create a somewhat self sustainable garden.
We might need someone to look after our two girls every now and then and we love to learn new languages.
It is hard to say Exactly what kind of help we Need at any given time, but feel free to write too us, and tell us When you will be traveling, and we can answer more clearly ❤️

Acomodação
At the moment the accommodation situation is a bit insecure, we can not assure an indoor bed, but we do have a tent, and there is a shelter, and if you are open to the possibilities we will figure something out :)
You may eat every meal with us, usually home Made vegetarian food, or you may use our kitchen or the commune kitchen.
We have warm water and internet.
You Are also free to bring Your own tent, or house wagon, car, camping-wagon.. An so on, to sleep in

there is a lot of beautiful nature around,
A short ride from the ocean,
Magnificent animal life, and birdwatching oppotuneties
Cultural experiences in the nearby towns
We have our own little shop, creative house, cafè and bar
A lot of small children
Animals
It is hard getting here by public transportation, there is one bus coming and one leaving once a day, exept weekends and hollydays, where there is nothing.
But it is easy to catch a ride, or hichhike
And we have a car, so we might be able to give you a lift, and show you around

He stayed with us for a week, and we loved every minute of it!
He helped where ever it was needed, he cared for the children, helped with some Pretty serious building, helped in the kitchen, in the garden you name it!

she stayed with us for two weeks and helped with everything from gardening, maintenance, house building.. just everything we asked, she did in a split second :)
she is open minded and respectful, we would recommend her a thousand times <3

Hector, Lucy and the two girls are great hosts, warm-hearted and really relaxed. Also the food was just amazing! I had the chance to help them with a big dream: a kind of earthship, which is a really special house! Looking forward to see it completed :)

we had the pleasure of hosting her for two weeks, and that was nothing but awesome!
