We are a small scale farm on a journey to become a food forest with a focus on natural building and crafts.
This is a small homestead, located on the fringe of western ghats and the city of Mumbai. Inspired by permaculture principles and indigenous land practices, we provide opportunities to live and experience a slower and mindful life. We, me, my partner and 2 cats are mainly focused on developing and creating this space with natural building, food forestry, creativity, care and community. -

Guests will be learning about natural building, gardening, plant-based cooking, fermentation and participate in eco-art projects.
Apart from the farm, I really enjoy reading writing during the quiet hours. There is a collection of books on ecology, ecofeminism and local flora. There are also opportunities to go for walks, run and cycle around the village. -
Ajuda
From deweeding, sowing, harvesting vegetables to watering and upkeep of the trees, you'd also be participating in our natural building and craft projects. Work changes with seasons and rains but an average day involves cooking, garden maintenance, composting and fixing natural buildings.

Acomodação
There is shared Workawayer accommodation for 2 available at the adobe cottage and a 2-person tent. All the meals on the farm are fully plant-based, vegan with local and seasonal produce. Lunch will be made in solar cooker, dinner will be shared and there will be kitchen access for breakfast.

The nearest local train station from Mumbai City is Asangaon (Shahapur). There are buses and shared taxis available from Shahapur untill Kinhavli. Kinhavli is the nearest town (12 kms away) close to the farm. Local shared cabs are easily available from Kinhavli to Savaroli.
