  Hello everyone
  We are a family of three. Fani (the mother), Iris (the daughter) and Lili (the dog). We live in a small town called Es Mercadal, in the belly of Menorca, a few kilometers from virgin beaches and nature ant it's maybe one of the most beautiful towns in the island
  I work attending visitors in an archaeological site, and I need some help with work at home and to care Iris and Lili.
  We would like a polivalent, dynamic and respectful person. Also independent and waiting to discover another culture, other people and other places. You will have a lot of time for yourself, and if you want you can participate in our activities and friends. In return we offer you accommodation and meals and the opportunity to make new friends ;)

  Menorca is a wonderful place to discover, with incredible nature, virgin beaches, and a very good atmosphere in summer, which knows how to keep its slow pace. You will have a lot of free time a week to enjoy your stay in the way you choose. You can go on your own or share the activities you want with the family. We like to enjoy nature, go on excursions, go out with our camper van, go to the beach, get together with our friends, enjoy the sea and other simple but great pleasures that the island offers us.

  Ajuda

  We need different types of help and we can adjust it to the workawayer profile. We live in an old house, so it always needs small repairs. There's also a piece of land that has not been cultivated for a long time and I really would love to have a nice garden there, so someone strong with knowledge of building, permaculture or organic farming is very welcome.
  
  A person who can take care of Iris is also welcome, specially from April to October when I have work. Iris is a very energetic, creative and resourceful 7-year-old girl. At first she is quite shy and you have to give her time and have patience so that she adapts to new people. Once this is over, she is a very funny girl.
  
  People for helping in general housework, cooking, shopping, go out with Lili, and daily tasks are welcome too.

  At home we speak Spanish and Catalan. I speak (as far as I can hehehe) English and French. In summer many visitors from different countries come to the place where I work, so any language you speak will be a good opportunity for all of us to learn. I prefer that the person who comes speaks some Spanish so that the girl can be understood, especially at the beginning.

  Acomodação

  We live in a traditional village house. It's a bit old and it needs little renovations, but it's comfortable. We have a large garden that needs some maintenance and we would like to enjoy it in the summer and this year we would like to do a little gardening.
  The person who comes will have a room for individual use and will share the rest of the house with the family. We would like you to feel at home.

  There is public transport for the rest of the towns and beautiful beaches from Mercadal. Prices start at €2.50 one way depending on the distance. Access to virgin beaches is only with your own vehicle. Public transport doesn't work so well during the winter season.

  There's unlimited wireless internet access at home. Signal is good for digital work. Last year I worked at home without problems.
