  My name is Danyal and I am so delighted to invite you here!
  
  Life has blessed me with a vast piece of beachfront land on the beautiful island of Mauritius. The property comprises several houses that, with the help of numerous friends and dedicated workaways, have undergone renovation.
  We are surrounded by nature and our six gorgeous dogs. You’ll be alongside workaways, friends, family visitors and people from all walks of life and multiple faiths joining us on our journey to experience time in this land - please embrace this!
  
  You’ll be here helping us take this home on a new stage of life, thus working towards completing general renovations, ongoing maintenance and improvements. Occasionally helping organise holistic events for social media content to showcase the wonder of life here.
  
  Drawing from my passion for Yoga, consciousness, and self-development, I align the vision with four guiding principles:
  
  Karma Yoga: Selflessly engaging in the tasks of the moment, imbued with love and mindfulness
  Bhakti Yoga: Crafting with fervour and dedication
  Jñana Yoga: Learning about the world and oneself through our actions and reactions, with an extensive library at your disposal

  Mauritius is an amazingly culturally diverse country, where Hindus, Muslims, Christians, and Chinese coexist peacefully. My house is located not far from a typical Mauritian village, offering ample opportunities for cultural immersion and the creation of community projects.
  
  Additionally, I am a certified yoga and qi gong teacher with several years of practice. I will gladly introduce you to these practices, along with my humble understanding of life and Indian spirituality. I have a deep appreciation for sharing knowledge and, most importantly, learning from you. I'm curious to discover the unique perspectives life has offered you so far in your journey of understanding.

  Ajuda

  This property has some extensive work ahead, and we don't expect it all to happen at once. We'll take it step by step, working towards completing general renovations, followed by ongoing maintenance and improvements.
  
  Below are the key projects that I am looking to have completed by a Workaway over the coming months.
  
  1. Organisation and decluttering for garage sales and markets : clearing out a gym and putting items for sale
  
  2. Creating an E-tailer to sell some of our antiques, pottery, art works, gym equipment online (Facebook Marketplace)
  
  3. Maintenance Projects: Maintaining the outdoor Workaway volunteer kitchen for a convenient use and general ongoing maintenance around the property
  
  4. Propagation and Gardening: Clearing the garden and creating a plant nursery
  
  5. Carpentry Projects: Repairing damaged furniture and crafting new pieces from wood sourced from around the property and repurposed wood from old furniture
  
  6. Wellness Events: Facilitating days for our community in Yoga, Massage, Reiki, Sound Baths and experiencing time together : hosting a retreat in January
  
  7. Creating a digital Digital Nomad Collective
  There are ideas in the pipeline to create a paid co-living and co-working space for about 3 digital nomads. Help us to refine and execute this vision.
  
  We do expect an attitude of self-motivation and respect for the collective work ethic as each day unfurls with fresh experiences and challenges, fostering personal growth. I extend an invitation to all who join us to embrace a similar mindset, one where we collectively achieve daily and weekly goals with each other.

  Acomodação

  Sleeping arrangment:
  You will be living either in a shared underground shala with ensuite bathroom with other workawayers or your own room which shares a bathroom with one other workawayer. There is always the possibility to sleep in a tent or hammock on the property.
  
  Kitchen:
  Shared outdoor kitchen for all the workawayers with all the amenities one needs
  
  Food:
  Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided
  
  Space:
  The property has plenty of space, a big garden, friendly dogs, beach access and beach view. 🌴

  The house is quite isolated (20min walk from the nearest village). There will be lots of time for self reflection or reading by the beach. On days off there is the option to go visit the Island by public bus. Grand Baie (the tourist hub) is a 30min bus ride away, and has a good day and night life.

  Internet is available when working from the main house. A 28 day SIM card can be purchased from the airport on arrival for roughly $15 that will give you 200GB of data too.
