We had a wonderful week with Véronique, Michel and family! We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and we were very sad to leave.
Véronique gave us tasks based on our skills and kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and to ask if we needed any help or guidance. We felt our work was valued and made a difference.
We loved
… read more being able to stay in two beautiful homes - both in Neuchâtel and Valais. This gave us such a great first impression of Switzerland.
We also loved the culutural exchange – we did our best to speak French and everyone was very accommodating to our beginner level. We also learnt so much about the Swiss culture.

Alanoud & Arran are a wonderful couple and the time with them was amazing. They are friendly, respectful, open mind and we had very nice talks together.

Véronique et Michel ainsi que leurs enfants nous ont très bien accueilli.
Les taches ont été variés avec une bière bien mérité après les corvées de fauchage des talus et la peinture du chalet. Ces deux semaines ont été très bonnes, avec de nombreux moments d'échange, de partage et de rencontre .

… read more mari, est une très bonne personne aussi et amusant. J'ai passé d'excellentes semaines avec eux. Quant au travail, ils sont flexibles et ordonnés. Ils ont toujours été préoccupés par ma sécurité et ma conformité. En retour, ils m'ont logé dans leur maison confortable et ils m'ont fourni tous les repas (les deux sont très bons en cuisine). Je les recommande honnêtement et totalement en tant qu'hôtes. J'espère que nous pourrons rester en contact et vous revoir bientôt. We spent two unforgettable weeks with Veronique, Michel and their lovely family. Right from the moment we arrived we were welcomed and felt accepted into the family. We spent one week painting a room in their chalet and the other painting a room in their family home. The work was well planned and achievable, and communication with them was excellent.

Since I read their profile I knew that they were the perfect family to deal with for my first workaway experience.
I spent there two weeks feeling like part of the family, the work was not hard or long (except for the lavander in the garden :laughing:)
