We are a hostel located near the city centre.
This is named after the blue front door that symbolizes prosperity which can project a sense of peace, tranquillity, and elegance. This hostel is an old villa that was used as a base by the partisans during World War II.
The hostel is located in one of the most interesting neighbourhoods of Tirana. The hostel is surrounded by old villas, besides that, we are very close to the 'Old Bazaar' only 5 minutes by foot and the city centre. The building has a balcony and a rooftop terrace, as well as a shaded, green outdoor space. We want to make this hostel a creative space where everyone can express their ideas and experiences.
Our local team will try to share with everyone the Albanian experience and show a lot of places to visit around the country. We want our hostel to be cultural places open also to local people, staying with us will allow every traveller to understand the beauty of Albania. Our hostel has a local manager (Disi) along with an Albanian nanna who makes the dinners for the team and guests each night. Together we are the family you will be joining.

They will learn more about Albanian culture and have time to visit Albania at the lowest-cost provided. Also there is the opportunity to join some of the tours that will be done by our team.
There are hiking trails, bike trails , nightlife and a lot of history around Tirana that is waiting for you to enjoy.
We can provide you a lot of information about how to visit other places in Albania on your free days and feel like a local.

You are welcome to join this project and growing family where you have to take part in daily chores of cleaning and help with reception shifts or even organize activities .
We want that everyone that is part of our team to have a great experience to remember.
The Workawayers will be normally composes by 4-6 people from all over the world.
We will be happy to have you and your skill to bring life to this hostel, renovate, invent, and explore what the beautiful nature around has to offer tourists.

It is located in one of the most interesting neighbourhoods of Tirana where you can have a real local Albanian culture. We offer all the facilities needed for an enjoyable stay starting from a separate kitchen, air conditioners, working spaces, free Wi-Fi, and common areas where we can socialize with each other. Near the hostel, you can find some good local restaurants for someone that wants to try some delicious traditional dishes.

He came to Tirana to volunteer at our hostel and ended up staying here in Tirana for a portion of his life. Even if he is not a volunteer anymore, he will come to our place every now and then and help us when he's available.
He's easygoing and tech-savvy. A perfect fit for any Workaway experience.
The staff members are easy-going, hard-working people. Besides working here, they are tour guides, so they will give the best advice on traveling around Albania and the Balkans.
It's not a party hostel, which is great for me.
