Sylvie stayed with us in December 2024, helping us with our children and some other general house tasks. Sylvie was an absolute joy to have stay in our house and we consider ourselves very lucky to have gotten to spend time with her. The kids adored Sylvie who had such a calm manner with them while still managing to get everything done with them
… read more like home work and getting ready for school. Sylvie was very independent and went on trips each weekend she was with us as we provided a car. We had many lovely meals and evenings with Sylvie and enjoyed her company, kindness and sense of humour. Sylvie is an incredibly hard worker who easy took on and managed all the tasks expected of her and more. Thanks you Sylvie for everything we miss you lots!

I spent only one month with Alice and family, but what a lovely place to stay!! Felt like home the first day. A welcoming warm family,Alice and Dan have busy life and yet are always making sure everything is ok. They let me use their car which is very generous and appreciated as Ireland without a car would not have been the same ! The job is very
… read more clear and easy, communication smooth, and good fun (even try milking the cows with Dan! ). The kids are used to workawayers and look forward to each newcomer with open minds and will to share and enjoy. Very smart, lively, and caring kids. Dogs are part of the family and it's a pleasure walking them around and see how they play together. I also met Kathy, Alice's mum, and wow! an incredible woman ! ! Thank you all for this amazing time and life time experience, I can't wait to see you all again in France or in Ireland.

I stayed with Alice and Daniel for 4 weeks, and they were absolutely amazing. Not only did they prepare delicious dishes, but they also made sure I felt comfortable and welcome throughout my stay. They included me in so many activities that I truly felt like part of the family. I especially loved our evenings together, whether we were watching
… read more Harry Potter by the cozy fireplace or taking trips to explore different places. I also had my first experience with farming, for which I am incredibly thankful.
Additionally, they always took the time to talk with me, which helped me become much more confident in speaking English. Thanks to them, I also had the opportunity to meet many incredible people. They were always happy to drive me to cities or stations, which not only allowed me to explore many parts of Ireland but also helped me meet other wonderful people.
I had so much fun with their two kids, Molly and Fionn—whether we were playing with tractors or drawing together. While there were some challenging moments, both children have beautiful personalities and wonderfully creative, adventurous minds.
This experience is one I will never forget. Thank you so much for everything, Alice and Daniel!

I spent two lovely months with Alice, Daniel, Molly and Fionn! During my stay I felt really welcome and part of the family. My work mostly consisted of getting the children ready for school in the mornings, collecting them (by car) from the school bus after their day at school, preparing some snacks/lunch/dinner for them and also their lunchboxes
… read more for the next day, then doing homework with Fionn and Molly and later that day minding the children and playing with them. I really enjoyed the time with the two kids as they are really creative, active and full of energy. In the evenings, nearly every day, I put one of them, mainly taking turns, to bed by reading a chapter in a book. During my time abroad, Daniel and Alice let me participate in every family activity (creating a treasure hunt for Fionn's birthday party, going to the fun fair, to rugby trainings and gaelic football matches, taking them to their drama lessons and going on several family trips, including Cork, Clonakilty, and Killarney, playing Monopoly at the dinner table, going to milk the cows on the farm, etc.) and tried to faciliate and enable me to see a lot of the beautiful country (they always had good ideas and lovely spots to visit). Now and then, some changes in plans were quite spontaneous and last-minute; however, most of the time you could assume they will indeed take place. I was also insured on one of the cars, so I could drive the kids to some places and collect them from different activities. Not only did I drive the kids somewhere, but I was also able to plan my own trips by car (which was outstandingly generous of Daniel and Alice!). So I was able to spend a few days in Cork and in Galway, visit the Ring of Kerry, go to Killarney, Limerick, Dingle, Kinsale, and a lot of different other places, including the towns in the surrounding areas, many irish pubs with live music and hiking spots. Beyond that, it was very generous of Daniel and Alice as well to get me a membership for the gym, where I could drive as often as I wanted to! I had a lot of nice and interesting conversations with Alice and Daniel and I loved chatting and laughing with them. I really enjoyed the very rural area to the fullest, as it's such a beautiful place with all the green fields, the animals, the extremely nice, friendly and open people and the feeling that nothing needs to be stressed. I will never forget those two wonderful months thanks to Daniel, Alice, and the lovely kids Molly and Fionn! :)Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

I spent a month with Alice, Daniel and the children. I was looking for an experience to improve my English. Working with the children as well as spending time with the whole family has proven an efficient way to achieve that goal. My work consisted in playing and doing the homework with the children after school as well as helping at the farm two

I spent a wonderful time in Ireland, surrounded by nature and animals. The whole family has been so nice to me. Alice and Daniel have interesting stories to share and they are always eager to have a conversation. I was always involved in the family's activities which allowed me to discover beautiful places (Killarney, Clonakilty, Dingle...). Though the children can be tough sometimes, they are kind, very funny and it is nice to spend time with them as they ask many questions and share lots of things as well. My month there is something I will never forget and I'm so thankful to Daniel and Alice for that wonderful experience.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

I spent five weeks with Alice and Daniel and during this time I was happy. Alice and Daniel live in a wonderful place, a place full of peace and tranquility, surrounded by nature. A perfect place for those who want to get away from the chaotic city. I usually spent my mornings helping daniel's father on the farm, and it was a wonderful experience

My main job was spending time with the kids, Fionn and Molly. playing with them, seeing the world through their imaginative eyes was so cool. They are two kids full of energy and life. Daniel and Alice have been very kind to me since day one, and considering their young age, it was a pleasure to talk to them and discuss life.
During my stay, Alice and Daniel took me to wonderful places, such as kellerny and clonakilty, places I really enjoyed. Evenings in front of the fireplace, dinners all together, walking the dogs, are all memories that I will always carry in my heart.
thanks Alice and Daniel.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.
