  We are an 80-acre property in the beautiful Northern Rivers. Our property is a Valley of mixed Forest. Beautiful stands of gum trees and rainforest are a pretty creek and a beautiful waterfall. Jason and Brett are married, and live here. We enjoy having helpers work with us to stay on top of the gardens and the many building projects.

  We enjoy sharing a relaxed and welcoming home life with our volunteers.
  
  Most weeks we’ll share a meal or two together, it’s a nice way to connect and exchange stories. You’ll also be able to use the space to prepare meals whenever you like.
  
  We value friendly social interaction and are happy to include you in our day-to-day life, while also respecting your independence.
  For helpers without a car, we’re glad to take you into town when we’re heading in for supplies.
  
  We don’t expect anything beyond your help, but we do appreciate curiosity, kindness, and a willingness to join in when the mood strikes.

  Acomodação

  Depending on the length of stay and what projects we’re working on, accommodation is either in a self-contained cabin or a comfortable private room in the main house.
  
  The cabin is around 40 m², private and fully equipped with its own kitchen, bathroom (including composting toilet), washing machine, and wood heater.
  
  When the cabin is not available, we offer a private guest room in the house with your own separate private area, and shared use of our kitchen, living room, and bathroom. It’s a relaxed, welcoming home environment with plenty of space and privacy.
  
  Both options are clean, comfortable, and surrounded by nature ideal for relaxing after a day’s work and enjoying the peaceful setting.

  Our place is about a 45-minute drive inland from Byron Bay, surrounded by national parks, waterfalls, and some of the most beautiful hikes in the region. The closest village is Clunes (15 minutes), while Mullumbimby and Lismore are each around 30 minutes away in opposite directions.
  
  On your time off, you can explore local swimming holes, bushwalks, and lookouts right on your doorstep. For those without a car, we’re happy to give you a lift into town when we’re heading in for supplies.
  
  We enjoy a good life here, with a focus on our beautiful property, good company, and great food. We don’t have many rules—just mutual respect, clear communication, and a willingness to pitch in and keep shared spaces tidy. We do ask that there’s no smoking in the house or the cabin, and ideally you’re a non-smoker.
  
  We also like to get out and about, and if we’re heading to something social, helpers are always welcome to join us if they’d like.
