Descrição
Located between Bayonne and Dax, and about 20km from the most beautiful beaches is a 300-year-old stone house. Between summer 2024 and summer 2025 we want renovated it completely, while we stayed there with our family for one year (we are originally from Germany). In the long term, we want to turn the house into a place for many people to spend time together.
Right now we are there occasionally and during those times could need some help. This will be the case form the 5. October until mid December.

We like having dinners together with everyone araound, going to the beach, markets or the mountains. We like meeting new people and very welcoming for workaways to live here with us.

We are a welcoming and open family and happy to get to know different people.
Come as you are.
We have been living in China, Indonesia and Pakistan and both being social anthropologists we can share a lot of cultural experiences. Our kids are very eager to get to know people from all kinds of backgrounds.
Located half an hour from the Atlantic, you will have the possibility of going to the beach/surfing. We have two cars that can be borrowed.

In general we look at what our workawayers are interested in and try to make it a good experience.
While we do the construction work ourselves (and sometimes have professionals working with us) we need help with family meals and in the garden.
