Welcoming kind souls to help transform lives in Parakaduwa. We are a charitable organization who set up with the intention of improving the lives of Sri Lankans affected with disabilities, social stigmas and other troubling issues. More specifically, we are searching for individuals who are happy to engage with the pupils at our residential training centre, in turn providing a positive contribution to our community. Accomodation will be available for you as well as 3 freshly cooked meals per day. In your free time you will have the opportunity to experience the tranquility of Sri Lankan buddhist life, as well as visiting many wonderful nearby attractions such as Bopeth Falls and Adam's Peak.
We have 4 paid staff members such as 1)center incharge 2) hostel maitron 3) assistant hostel maitron 4) cook

If you are interested in immersing yourself into local Sri Lankan village life and learning more about buddhism then this is the perfect place for you. Our chief monk is very competent in the English language and can teach you many different buddhist concepts and philosophies in depth. You will also have the opportunity to socialise with the local community and discover more about our way of life and traditions.

We are welcoming a range of volunteers
Firstly those who can help with fundraising, website design and engaging and teaching the pupils at our residential centre. This could include dance, music and arts and crafts.
We would also love to host those who have handy skills to help to develop our residential centre.
Also we would like people to help us to start a vegetable and herbal garden.

I am open to learning new languages, in particular French and German.
Acomodação
We can provide personal rooms if they are available, otherwise you may be sharing with other volunteers.
We can provide 3 cooked sei lankan meals per day and 2 times tea or coffee and bed tea.if volunteers need to prepare any extra meal we can provide the kitchen facilities upon there request. Foods can provide for all days incluiding their off days.
