Help with a workshop project using natural materials in Rogil, Portugal

  I am a single mum with 2 teenagers. We are finishing the renovations of our house and building a workshop just outside. There are lots of things that need doing to finish the workshop, and I want to get it done so I can start using it for my own work projects. I have 5 hectares of land which is forest and meadow. There is clearing wood, cutting trees, strimming brambles, and many many more things to do on the land. There are so many things that could be achieved if I had some help, otheriwse it will be very slow progress. I'm not that interested in cooking, so I'd also appreciate help with cooking dinners sometimes too!

  My land is situated in Carrascalinho, Rogil, within the Vicentina national park. We are 15 minutes by car to the incredible West coast beaches Carriagem and Praia dos Homens, 25 minutes from the famous surf beaches Odeceixe and Arrifana. We are a 12 minute drive from the lovely and popular town of Aljezur which has a developing expat community. This is an area of incredible natural beauty and the social experiences available can be enriching and much is focussed on wellbeing and healing. Many people are drawn to this area because of it's healing vibration. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants/ needs to get their hands in the earth and get grounded.

  Ajuda

  I would like help with continuation of the workshop building project. Collecting and preparing cane for the roof, laying the floor, building the walls with hempcrete, laying paving. Also, there is plenty to do on the land; clearing the forest floor, building a wood store, planting trees, setting up irrigation systems, strimming areas of land and clearing brash, cutting down large dead trees, and cutting them up for firewood, putting up fences. Continuing with agro-ecological soil restoration projects. Landscaping.

  Acomodação

  I can provide a tent and mattress for each person who stays. and they can have use of a shared kitchen, compost toilet and shower. I am not offering food, but there may be occasions where we can all eat together from time to time. this is outside of the work/accommodation exchange.

  This is an excellent area for surfing, healing, hiking. There is a bus from Odeceixe to Lagos which passes very nearby. There are bikes I could lend sometimes if my children aren't using them. There are a group of teenagers living here who will always be up for a game of pingpong or basketball.
