We’re looking at being there on Friday 24th July. We're happy for you to stay a few days either side of those dates- that can be worked out.
It's up to you if you want to meet us there, or if you don't have your own transport we can take you with us from Tauranga.

Hi, we are wanting some help at our holiday home at Opito Bay, Coromandel. Maybe some deck building, painting, gardening etc Weather permitting there will also be some fishing involved on the sealeg (an amphibious boat!)

You will love Opito Bay - it's one of the best beaches on the Coromandel so a great opportunity!

We live on a large section on the edge of Tauranga. We have lots of fruit trees, a large vegie garden, a few chicken, a worm farm, a crazy demanding cat & a large Newfoundland dog. There is always lots to do to keep the place in order (although generally a week at a time is all we can accommodate). Autumn is a busy time preserving all our produce - we make a lot of our food & what we do buy is generally wholesome & natural.
We have a tennis court, small gym & swimming pool which you are welcome to use.
We have travelled extensively.

We also own a holiday house in the Coromandel & we often need help at that location.

We are non smokers & so would prefer non smokers please.

Acomodação

Separate guest wing with large games room - TV, cinema & pool table all available for use - including a small gym. There are two separate rooms with a double bed in each plus a bathroom & small kitchen, however meals will be had together with us.

Tauranga is a beautiful city on the coast - we are a 15 min drive from an amazing surf beach. Tauranga is also very well placed in the central north island - with Rotorua, Hobbiton, The Coromandel & Auckland all close by. I'm happy to collect you from a bus - if that's necessary.

If work is needed at our holiday house & if the weather is good, we can take you fishing.

We would prefer couples/two friends please

During my 12 days at Andy and Jane's, I was warmly welcomed. Their hospitality was exceptional, and they introduced me to various aspects of New Zealand culture, including delights like pavlova, marmite, and fish and chips. We had some wonderful days, both very kind from the first day. During the morning, we work together in their garden and in the afternoons we enjoy different walks, bike rides, parks and even eat fish and chips! Really unforgettable moments. I had an amazing experience with Andy and Jane. They let me play around in their garden, taking care of it. I was involved with winter permaculture practices, transplanting seedlings and enjoying the many little colourful birds that live in the area.

I was treated like a friend, with respect and generosity.

Jane and Andy are very welcoming. They live in a beautiful house with a nice accomodation and well located in Tauranga. We spent good moments with the family. Jane cooked good meals and we played Tennis with Andy. We had lots of very interesting conversations together, so it was good to be in a family like Andy and Jane.
