Descrição
The horse farm is located in the heart of the forest between the Lot and Dordogne. It's a clearing, 3 small hills and a small spring that pours its waters to water the horses.
I work only with twenty horses that remain in meadows and herds throughout the year. The psychic well being of the horses priority .
My main activities are the education of young horses by ethological methods , hiking and livestock.
There is also tourist accommodation in tepees.
For now volunteer accommodation is in a caravan behind the farm and sometimes visited by deer.
La ferme équestre est située au coeur de la forêt entre le Lot et la Dordogne. C'est une clairière, 3 petites collines et une petite source qui épanche ses eaux pour abreuver les chevaux.
J'y travaille seule avec une vingtaine de chevaux qui restent au prés et en troupeaux toute l'année. Le bien être psychique des chevaux étant la priorité.
Mes activités principales sont l'éducation des jeunes chevaux par des méthodes éthologiques, les randonnées et l'élevage.
Il y a aussi de l'hébergement de vacances en habitat léger, des tipis.
Pour l'instant l'accueil des volontaires se fait dans une caravane derrière la ferme et parfois visitée par les chevreuils.

Probably for many the discovery of ethology , a very different horses approaching what is usually taught us . But also the beauty of the countryside rich Lotoise an ancestral cultural heritage.
Surement pour beaucoup la découverte de l'éthologie, d'une approche des chevaux bien différente de ce que l'on nous enseigne habituellement. Mais aussi la beauté de la campagne Lotoise riche d'un patrimoine culturel ancestral.
Ajuda
In a farm with animals work is very diverse. There are caring for horses, moving train feed , vets care ... etc ... The farm talks, fences , débroussaillages , wood ... maintenance of equipment , leather, mechanical .... and also welcoming tourist in tepees, cook and clean the tepees. However, the help you will be asked for will depend on your skills.
Dans une ferme avec des animaux les travaux sont très divers. Il y a les soins aux chevaux, les déplacer les entraîner les nourrir, les soins vétos ...etc... L'entretiens de l'exploitation, les clôtures, débroussaillages, bois ... l'entretien du matériel, cuirs, mécanique .... et aussi pour l'accueil des touristes en tipis, cuisine, et intendances (buanderie). Quoi qu'il en soit l'aide qui vous sera demandée dépendra de vos compétences.

je suis intéressée par l'étude, l'échange et la pratique des langues tel que l'arabe marocain, le berbère, l'espagnol et le catalan. Et bien sur la pratique de l'anglais. Je suis aussi heureuse d'enseigner le français.
Acomodação
This is a great comfortable caravan for two. There light. It is ideally situated to be close to the farm where there are kitchen and bathroom , fully cushy !
C'est une grande caravane confortable pour deux personnes. Il y a la lumière. Elle est idéalement située pour être tout proche de la ferme où il y a cuisine et salle de bain et totalement peinard!

The surrounding countryside is beautiful and there are many things to see and lovely walks to do. In summer it also has some festivals , clubs and bars operate at full ! Even if it's not there Rio is fun anyway!
La campagne environnante est très jolie et il ya bien des choses à voir et de belles balades à faire. L'été il a aussi quelques festivals et les bars associatifs fonctionnent à plein! Même si c'est pas Rio on se fait plaisir quand même!

Nous avons une bonne connexion wifi mais limitée dans l'espace, c'est à dire uniquement dans la pièce commune et la terrasse.

During this time I could take care of the horses, repair some fences and have really interesting and deep discussions with Genevieve. She was capable of creating such a special place where each animal can find a shelter and love.
