  There are dedicated people in our village of 70 people who run a small Friday pub. While enjoying a drink and a bite to eat, you can quickly find contacts and information on almost everything that is going on in the area. Many well-developed cycling and hiking trails lead you through the cultural landscape shaped by agriculture and along nearby rivers with several castles and monasteries. A large forest is within sight. We can help you to find the most beautiful routes.
  The surrounding cities of Meissen, Dresden, Chemnitz or Leipzig with their rich cultural offerings are easy to reach in 30-60 minutes by bus, train or car.

  Es gibt in unserem 70-Seelen-Dorf engagierte Menschen, die eine kleine Freitags-Kneipe betreiben. Bei Essen und Trinken findest du dort schnell Kontakt und Informationen zu fast allem, was in der Umgebung gerade läuft. Viele gut ausgebaute Fahrrad- und Wanderwege führen dich durch die landwirtschaftlich geprägte Kulturlandschaft und entlang nahegelegener Flüsse mit einigen Schlössern und Klöstern. Ein größeres Waldgebiet ist in Sichtweite. Wir können Ihnen helfen, die schönsten Routen zu finden.
  Die umliegenden Städte Meissen, Dresden, Chemnitz oder Leipzig mit ihren reichhaltigen kulturellen Angeboten sind in 30-60 min mit Bus, Bahn oder Auto leicht zu erreichen.

  The sheep graze on the meadow orchard near the farm from April to around mid-December. During this time, a daily visit to the pasture is enough to ensure that the sheep are doing well.
  The cuddly tomcats Freddy, Nepumuck and Blacky like to be outside during the day and get their food from the tin in the morning and evening. At night, Freddy and Nepumuck have their own sleeping areas in the kitchen. Old cat Blacky spends the night next door in the shed.
  There are a few beehives on the farm to pollinate our fruit trees, but a beekeeper friend takes care of that.
  It would be ideal if you could stay until December or March 2026 if possible. But the minimum stay should be 4 month since we´re on long-term journey.

  Die Schafe grasen auf der hofnahen Streuobstwiese von April bis etwa Mitte Dezember. In dieser Zeit genügt ein täglicher Kontrollgang zur Weide, um sicherzustellen, dass es den Schafen gut geht.
  Die Schmusekater Freddy, Nepumuck und Blacky sind tagsüber gern draußen und bekommen morgens und abends ihr Futter aus der Dose. Nachts haben Freddy und Nepumuck ihre eigenen Schlafplätze in der Wohnküche. Altkater Blacky übernachtet nebenan im Schuppen.
  Für die Bestäubung unserer Obstbäume stehen einige Bienenvölker auf dem Hof, aber darum kümmert sich ein befreundeter Imker.
  Ideal wäre, wenn du möglichst bis Dezember oder auch bis März 2026 bleiben kannst. Aber der Mindestaufenthalt sollte 4 Monate sein, da wir auf langfristiger Reise sind.

  Our apartment with kitchen-living room and south-facing terrace, large bedroom and bathroom is available to you. Natural wood furniture, warm colors and practical minimalism dominate.
  There is still plenty of space in the former sheepfold. The green, flowering courtyard grounds have a varied structure, are spacious and offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy the day outside in your favorite spots and to barbecue around the campfire in the evening.
  In addition to the private apartment, you are also welcome to use the vegetable garden with raised beds and the fruits of the 1 ha meadow orchard. Since most of the period we´re not at home, you would have to provide your own food. You will find supermarkets and grocery stores in the next town 4 km away. We usually do our purchases by bicycle. A bus line serves the village.
  Of course, we expect you to value our refuge and treat it with care. To ensure that everything you use always works well, occasional house tasks are required for care.

  Dir steht unsere Wohnung mit Wohnküche und Südterrasse, großem Schlafraum und Bad zur Verfügung. Naturholzmöbel, warme Farben und praktischer Minimalismus dominieren.
  Es gibt noch viel Platz im ehemaligen Schafstall. Das grüne blühende Hofgelände ist vielseitig strukturiert, weitläufig und bietet genügend Möglichkeiten, um den Tag draußen an deinen Lieblingsplätzen zu genießen und abends am Lagerfeuer zu grillen.
  Neben der Privatwohnung kann gern auch der Gemüsegarten mit Hochbeeten und die Früchte der 1 ha große Streuobstwiese genutzt werden. Da wir den größten Teil der Zeit nicht zu Hause sind, müsstest du dich selbst verpflegen. Sie finden Supermärkte und Lebensmittelgeschäfte in der nächsten Stadt 4 km entfernt. Normalerweise machen wir unsere Einkäufe mit dem Fahrrad. Eine Buslinie hält im Dorf.
  Wir erwarten natürlich, dass du unser Refugium wertschätzt und sorgsam behandelst. Damit alles was du nutzt immer gut funktioniert, sind gelegentliche Hausarbeiten zur Pflege und Instandhaltung zu erledigen.

  We love sustainable living. That's why a DIY solar system with battery storage covers the base load in normal operation and off-grid in the event of a power cut. The farm also includes an electricity-free organic wastewater treatment plant, an alternative composting toilet and extensive rainwater collection.
  With these and other measures, we also want to encourage other people to live in a resource-conserving and self-determined way with simple, robust solutions.

  Wir lieben ein nachhaltiges Leben. Darum deckt eine DIY-Solaranlage mit Batteriespeicher die Grundlast im Normalbetrieb und Offgrid bei Stromausfall. Zum Hof gehört auch eine stromlose Biokläranlage, eine alternative Komposttoilette, sowie eine umfangreiche Regenwassererfassung.
  Mit diesen und weiteren Maßnahmen wollen wir zugleich andere Menschen ermutigen, mit einfachen robusten Lösungen ressourcenschonend und selbstbestimmt zu leben.
