  Please do not apply for short periods "specially " in the Summer Months from June through September .
  Please only couples older than 25 with no cat allergies :)
  Maybe one person for July or August to help at the house not at the Farm which is already covered with help, for this person the help required is some cleanning , gardening , walking the dogs, feeding animals .
  
  At the moment we require helpers with some basic experience with the care of animals and gardening. Watering, pruning and looking after the garden is a big part of the daily routine , walking dogs , cleaning the chicken coop, feeding the chickens,
  
  We try to have an active , positive and healthy life style . We also enjoy good food , nice chats with a glass of wine and yummy Sicilian ingredients . We are all animal lovers and nature lovers ...
  
  We prefer couples older than 25 but We do make exeptions for single helpers.
  After many years of experience and due to the logistics of the island, bad seas in the winter and much more we prefer longer stays of at least 3 weeks to a month or longer.
  
  Between the house and the farm ,we are a family of 3 Donkeys, 15 cats,Chickens,Harley the Rooster ,"Oliva" the Sausage dog and "Ella Bella Trovatella ", and the latest Alfio Mafia" :)
  The idea of this small but very Unique place started as a dream and now has become a place to appreciate simplicity and love for nature and animals.Our Dream is that one day the farm becomes a permaculture center where we can all learn.
  
  At the Farm we are self sufficient with Solar power and rain water. There is no roads to get to, just a hike up and lots of good energy to get there. It has the mountain and the sea view. We have been planting Olives and fruit trees that need constant care and water during the dry months. The Donkeys are very spoil and loving, and they spend half of day free roaming.
  
  The house where we sleep is about 15 min walk from the farm. At the farm we can't sleep or live because of space and water restrictions but we enjoy spending the day there with all the animals and donkeys. Maybe one day we could live there :) but at the moment happy to have the farm to learn and teach , The farm is the labor of love !!!!
  
  Panarea in one of the most beautiful islands in the Med.Right below the Villa is located the most beautiful bay, ideal for swimming even in December.
  
  We are not permaculture teachers and we can only show you what we have done at our farm , it's is a place for you to apply your knowledge or to learn and understand what it has taken many years of faith, courage and hard work. We are still learning every day and nature usually is the one to teach us :)
  
  We invite you to experience this magical place and hope you love it and respect it as we do.
  
  Part of the requirements are:
  1) Experience with the care of animals, you must be able to do the feeding, brushing of the Donkeys , basic knowledge of building fences for around the plants and trees. Not a place for you if you have cat & Dogs allergies.
  2) knowlodge of basic tools including , drills , sanders, etc.
  3) Experience with gardening and been able to keep an organized, clean environment.
  4) We live a healthy life style, we prefer active people who can cooperate and contribute with all the different aspects of day/farm life including the preparation of meals, cleaning of all the share spaces.
  5) you must not be afraid to get your hands dirty, the farm is a very rustic, dusty but beautiful
  place.
  6) Good Attitud.
  
  We have a huge respect for food and do not like to waste it, Panarea is very hard to get exotic ingredients but we are lucky to have access to incredible Mediterranean food .
  
  There is plenty of time to relax, enjoy a great meal with wine and share experiences with good company.Many of our great helpers/friends come back more than once over the years. Our longest helpers stayed 9 months :)
  
  
  Panarea offers a mild winter climate but there days with rain and cold weather,you will be able to swim in the sea, beautiful mountain walks, mushroom picking in the winter. If you are looking for a quiet get away place then this is your dream island.

  Due to a hectic work life style during the Spring and Summer, at the moment we are only requiring help from experience people with knowledge of basic Gardening , growing food in a small scale for home consumption , looking after animals. in Exchange you will learn our way of keeping a farm that has limited amount of water , solar system for electricity , Sicilian and healthy food Cooking, Italian life on a small island.
  
  Panarea offers a mild winter climate ,you will be able to swim in the sea, beautiful mountain walks, mushroom picking in the winter. If you are looking for a quiet get away place then this is your dream island.

  Ajuda

  Our small Farm is full of live including lovely donkeys, chickens, dogs, cats , two ducks.. There is always lots to do around the farm including Gardening, small aqualculture projects , eco building , permaculture projects, fencing.
  Part of the requirements are: experience with the care of animals , you have to be animal lovers and willing to interact and socialize with donkeys and other spoiled creatures, Previous Gardening experience is a must and been able to keep a organize a clean environment.

  There are other beautiful islands near Panarea, like Stromboli where the volcano can be seem active from Panarea. Near by islands are perfect to visit on a day trip or if you would like to stay for the night, it can be arranged that other people we know can cover for a day or so.
  
  Tips how to get to Panarea:
  If you travel to Sicily by plane or train you will need to take ferries to Panarea from Milazzo, they have different schedules , the name of the ferry company is Liberty Lines , .The office ticket is right by the ferry on the port ( Milazzo), Buses from Catania or Messina to Milazzo stops by the ferry office where the ferries are taken to the Eolian Islands which are 7 of them including Panarea.
  
  Option 1)By Plane to Catania Airport (CTA )in Sicily then 1 1/2 hr drive to Milazzo by taxi , train or Bus. Milazzo is the town where the ferries are taken to Panarea.
  Option 2)By Plane to Palermo in Sicily ,2hrs Drive to Milazzo by Taxi or Bus, also train is available to Milazzo.
  Option 3) By train to Milazzo from anywhere in Europe .
  Option4) By Overnight Ferry from Naples, only twice a week weather permitting . Siremar.it( this is my favorite since you sleep in the ship and wake up early in Panarea , all weather permitting .
  Option 5) By fast ferry aprox 6 hours from Naples to Panarea directly avoiding planes, taxi and short ferry to Panarea , this option only available during July / August and part of September . Leaves Naples at 2:pm arrives panarea around 7:30pm. Name of the company is Snav.it
  
  
  In case of bad weather and you get to sleep a night or more in Milazzo, here are some helpful numbers for Hotels near the Port. Prices change depending of the time of the year .
  Petit Hotel, Winter aprox. 50 Euros at night X 2 people, they are the closest to the Port, they have Breakfast , very fast Internet and Breakfast. Located in front of the Port.
  Solaris Hotel, just a bit further away. They speak some English, 50 at night for two, 30 at night for one.
  Then walking Distance but not too close, Liberty Inn, 50 for two , nice room.
