  We are now two months into opening our new Ice baths, cafe, sauna, yoga and fitness studio and coffee shop in the south of Sri Lanka!
  
  This will be the first of its kind in Sri Lanka and I am looking for enthusiastic workawayers to come and help out for the season.
  
  You'll be two minutes from one of the best surfing beaches in Sri Lanka and one of the best places to learn to surf in the world with a range of cafes, bars and yoga studios all nearby.
  
  The sun shines and the waves are great all day every day for a full 5 months in the south of Sri Lanka from mid October to Mid March and after covid the area is really booming again with tourists.
  
  We have a team of 5 Sri Lankan staff that we have trained and work with and are looking to compliment our team with 1-2 volunteers as we look to open a new location shortly!

  Our location is right in the heart of Weligama and our 5 local staff are all from Weligama were all trained by us.
  
  There is a huge chance to meet and work with locals, especially the surf community. We are planning to offer free English, Russian and Sinhala lessons at least once a week.
  
  We are also planning to work with a number of other small businesses and all of our food and coffee will be locally sourced.

  URGENT NEED FOR SOCIAL MEDIA AND GRAPHIC DESIGN!
  
  - yoga/breathwork
  - barista/cafe experience (you won't actually be working as a barista but instead you will help my local team and support them in their work)
  - social media/graphic design
  
  **** We are especially keen on long-stayers, 1 month + who are happy to help in the off season****
  
  
  Areas I am looking for people with skills in:
  
  Physio / massage - this will be primarily sports massages and physio for injured surfers, if you have this skillset you will be paid well and have the chance to work seperately to a normal workaway on a self employed basis.
  
  Breathwork - I am looking for someone that can run breathwork classes several times a week. Again this could be in English, Russian or a third language.
  
  Yoga - we will have a dedicated yoga space where we plan to teach at least once a day. This could be more if this is something you waned to help promote your own classes.
  
  General help - I am looking for someone (ideally Russian speaking) to help with general assistance (for 3-4 hours a day).

  We will offer free Sinhala lessons every week and we will give priority to Workawayers who can speak Russian as it is the most important language in Weligama after English and Sihnala. Spanish and/or Hebrew would also be useful.

  Acomodação

  We offer a private en-suite room + scooter + local food in return for 25 hours help a week.
  
  This is likely to be in a surf camp next to our cafe. There will be no more than two workaways sharing but it is our preference to give you your own room wherever possible.
  
  We are definitely committed to offering you food on the days you work with us and can consider a food budget or allowance on the days that you don't. Local food is very cheap and we there is a kitchen you will be able to use.

  Surf - we are right on the best beginner beach to learn to surf in the world with multiple intermediate spots just 5-10 minutes away.
  
  We are partnered with several surf schools who can provide boards and or lessons for free or at a discounted price.

  Downstairs will be a coffee shop which could be perfect for a couple of hours of work a day. There are multiple dedicated co-working places nearby that you can use if you need a dedicated workspace.
