Hello beautiful people!
My name is Mahalia and I created my dream project in the jungle by the ocean : a little hotel with 4 wooden cottages, 2 villas and a yoga shala.
The hotel is in the jungle with lots of fruit trees and fertile soil and sometimes we see monkeys in the morning. It is walking distance to 3 beautiful bays (Silence beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka), Unakuruwa bay where you can surf a warm water point break and snorkel and jungle beach another paradise. Our village is still very authentic, uncrowded and the villagers will soon know you and be your friends. Hiriketiya & Tangalle are famous little towns about 10 min tuktuk drive from us.
We are looking for someone to come and help with teaching Yoga, hosting guests, waitering & give us a hand with photography & video for the season (Nov-April) 1 month min and off season (May to august) to house sit, host the few guests that come and enjoy this paradise (1 couple). We are also looking for social media experts to help us plan the year.
Special skills that we are looking for: social media expert / video/drone footage ! :)

You won't be bored and will get experience managing a hotel with the necessary staff as well as teaching yoga to small groups.
Locals are beautiful people, the village is walking distance, Tangalle is a city 10 min drive in tuktuk. There is plenty of surf around as well as cultural activities, you will definitely not struggle to fill up your free time around here :)
I am looking at having people staying long term, (you get a 1 month visa automatically when you land but you can request a 3 months visa in advance in your country before coming here and extend up to 6months)

Since we were there in low season there was not much to do, we basically just needed to take care of the house, maintaining everything in order and inhabiting the space to keep it nurtured.
We couldn't recommend it more :)
