Hi everybody! I'm 64 and I live in a beautiful town in the North of Italy (Padova), I work many hours a day and I need help taking care of my cat when I leave for a short holiday.

I speak English, French and German and I'm studying Chinese, Spanish, Russian. I could play the piano but I forgot, if my co-worker can play it it would be nice listening him/her playing. I've a lovely black cat which name is Pilù.
I don't accept smokers or people using any kind of drugs or alcohol.

I offer accommodation, private bedroom and private bathroom. What I ask is to feed him twice a day and spending some times with him and the night at home (no friends at home are allowed) in order he doesn't feel alone.

I already hosted a very nice and polite girl from Canada (10 days) and a very friendly woman from China (3 weeks) and recently a fantastic American woman (one week)

I can't host more than one person so pls no friends or couples.
About Padova: The town is UNESCO city, so perfect for art and history lovers, 20 minutes by train to Venice and no more than one hour to Vicenza, Verona, Treviso and Bologna.

Single room with big bed with private bathroom in a shared flat with me and my cat. No food is provided.

I live near the centre of Padova that can be reached by bus in 3 stops, there's a supermarket at about 300 mt and a park near home. Moreover, at about 200 Mt from home there's a sporting centre with swimming pool (and park during summer) , tennis and paddle courts and gym.
There's an other park at about 10 min from home with tennis cours, archery, football, mini football, skating, basket and volley-ball.

Already in advance of the trip Isabella provided me with a lot of information, suggestions for activities, information about cultural offers etc.

Even during her absence, Isabella took great care of my well-being. She was always available and provided me with new information every day.
Unfortunately, due to my state of health and my current constitution it was not possible for me to perceive all this. Therefore, I use the stay to come to rest and recover a bit.

I made the best of it, read in the cafes of the city, ate very well and let the mood of this vibrant city work on me. Also I could spend a day in Chioggia by the sea, which has done me very well.The location of the city of Padua is excellent. Cities such as Verona and Vicenza or even Venice can be reached within an hour without problems, the public transport in Padua and surroundings is excellently developed and thanks to contactless payment more than convenient.

The accommodation at Isabella is very comfortable for workawayer. You live separately on your own floor under the roof with bedroom and private bathroom. Isabella lives very authentically in an apartment building with a lot of green spaces outside the door. Within walking distance are supermarket and a small organic market, as well as an outdoor pool to reach.
From the apartment the city center of Padua can be reached within 10 minutes by bus, which is just wonderful.

My task as a workawayer to take care of the cat Pilú was very easy for me. He was already waiting for me in the morning and evening and he companied me on the balcony every evening. Otherwise he has kept it like me: eat and rest, a very relaxed animal that does not cause any problems. He is happy to be talked to and takes everything very calmly. Really extremely easy to maintain.

If it is possible to stay longer with Isabella, you can count on leaving the city as a real Italian. Isabella not only provides you with information about cultural events, but also familiarizes you with the customs and customs of the country. And you will then speak fluent Italian.
