Descrição
Hello, Workawayers!
This is a 400 years old Zen temple.
Our temple is very unusual: in addition to the traditional temple space we have also two DJ booths, a bar&cafe space, a sophisticated lighting and sound system and a thrift shop inside.
We hold various events where you can get away from regular life and fade into a surreal dreamland. You are most welcome to join. We are always working on new projects to create a lively temple community and we welcome your creative input. Now we are working on rebuilding storehouses around the temple, arrange the garden and try to create new spaces for performances. For all that your help will be greatly appreciated. (Please note: we are non profit, events are solely on a donation basis).
About us:
The head priest of the temple (36) is also a DJ and his younger brother (32) is a performer.Tipos de ajuda e oportunidades de aprendizado

We are especially looking for people with carpentry and woodworking skills. We need help for general maintenance, repair jobs and gardening.
Our next projects will be building a wood deck, an outdoor pizza oven, reforming an old store house, creating space for outside performances, building trails in the mountain around the temple and many more.
Usually we would like you to help three hours a day, 5 days a week.
If a project needs more hours a day, we will provide your lunch and you will get more free time on another day.Idiomas
