  We are a family consisting of Marian (Mum), Jose (Dad), Ines (8 years old daughter) and Nil (3 years old son). We live in Torrejón de Ardoz, a city very well connected by train, bus and road, 20 kilometers from the center of Madrid.
  Marian is working for automotive company into the HHRR departmente, and Jose is working as a Service Technician for a german company, into the food industry.
  We have schedule for children according to the different months (please check with the calendar the dates indicated by our family in Workaway, where we indicate the months in which we need the help, and verify with this detail the schedule and organization if it fits you):
  Normal school year October 2024 – May 2024
  The help we need from Monday to Friday would consist of waking them up around 7:30, prepare the breakfast, and dress them up and go to schools with them (Inés starts at 9:00 and Nil 9:15 to 9:30). Nil has to be picked up at 16:45h, and Inés at 17:00h, while come back home they eat a lite snack . After that, do some homework with Inés, and play for a while and enjoy the day. The distance between schools is around 15 minutes walking), then, come back home. There is a possibility they have extra classes some of the days.Then, when at home, helping them with homework (Nil won´t have, as he is too small). We would also like them to be having English classes with you. When that´s finished, just enjoy and play with them, or helping with cooking, until approximately 19:30. We mainly need an extra hand at home to help us.
  Basically it would be from 07:30 to 09:30 and from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  
  We would also like to organize two babysitting days a month during the weekend so that we can have some couple time, for example to go to dinner or go to a concert.
  
  Special months June 2024 and September 2024:
  During this month the timetable for school is different, as in the beginning they have continuous day, and they finish around 13:00, and they have no classes during the evening.
  Here it would be eating with them, doing homework with Inés and playing with them until I arrive.
  July and August 2024
  During the weeks we have to work, the children will go to a summer camp in our city. We would need you to get them up in the morning around 8, have breakfast and take them to the camp that usually starts at 9, then we would pick them up at 2:00 p.m., eat together and play until I get home from work.
  
  It would never be more than 5 hours in weekly calculation.
  During the time with good weather, afternoons can be different, and you can play with them in the park, for a while.
  At home we want to speak only in English, so we need the person who comes to have a high level of English. Depending on the month, we could give you contact information for a Spanish course offered by our city. To be able to take and pick up children, we offer payment for the transport card with which you could travel in the Community of Madrid and some nearby cities.
  You could go for free to the pool near our house (open from June to September).

  Traveller will have the opportunity to have time to study during the mornings, and learn spanish, and also practice english. They will also have all the support and help from us to have a productive stay.
  Depending on the month, we could give you contact information for a Spanish course offered by our city. To be able to take and pick up children, we offer payment for the transport card with which you could travel in the Community of Madrid and some nearby cities.

  Acomodação

  Traveller will use an independent room in the house, where have privacy and a suitable space. They will share with us the kitchen (and hopefully many funny moments with us), and one of the bathrooms (It is the one children use for baths).

  Helpers will have a fast connection to bus and train stations, which can take them to the center of the town (Torrejon de Ardoz), and in something like 30 minutes, to the center of Madrid. They can visit several musseums, study, practice sports, and visiting many charming cities around (Alcala de Henares, is quite near, and it is afamous city for being born city from Miguel de Cervantes, and also for a famous spanish University).
