Descrição
We have an Eco Hostel project (we are not operating as a hostal yet, still at the beginning stages)In a rural area at about 5 Kim's from Asilah town, It is being built with Adobe bricks and other Eco materials, we are situated 27Km from Tangiers and Tangiers Airport. We have the capacity to accomodate about 5-6 people at the moment and are constructing thatched huts with mud and cane (African style) to provide more in the future. Volunteers are expected to help for 5 hours per day.
We are vegetarians and only cook vegetarian food in the house. If you want fish or meet you'll have to make your own arrangements. There is a minimum commitment of 2 weeks.

Learn arabic, as we are in a rural enviroment volunteers can directly experience the life of the native people .

In the next few months we will begin building the Eco bungalows, needing help with cob and bamboo construction. Volunteers will also be involved with growing a wide range of fruit and vegetables, and general land and building maintainance. All volunteers help with cooking, food preparation, shopping, cleaning and other household tasks.

Acomodação
We have a spacious rural cottage where people sleep in a dormitory style! We are in the process of building further accommodation which will be ready from the Spring. We are situated in the heart of the Moroccan countryside with limited Internet access and no luxuries, guest can buy "pay as you go "credits (20 dh or 2 Euros per week)for Internet in Asilah town for their mobile devices.

Volunteers will be able to enjoy historic Asilah with its beautiful beaches and ancient medina which is only 5 KM away. You can also enjoy local culture, rural tranquility and stunning views.

Eniko stayed with us for one week in our Eco project in Asilah, Morocco, adapted quite well, she cleared weeds from the garden, planted flowers which are growing nicely, she also helped in the kitchen and cleaning the house, a person with very nice character and service attitude. We are very greatful for her help!

I spent 3 weeks at Jamal's place and that was a nice time. The project of the hostel is in its first steps, so that's quite motivating. We could start building the new bungallow for gests combining diferent techniques.
The place, away of the village is calm enough for enjoying the moroccan country side's charm.
