First and foremost picking olives is a skill that once acquired you can practice anywhere meaning you could pick up extra help/workaway opportunities , learn italian, an authentic experience in the Tuscan countryside unlike any other.
Ajuda
Starting 01/11 for about a week in one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany half-way between Florence and Siena to experience the 'real' Tuscan/Italian life with the possibility of visiting all the most interesting art cities all within a short radius of the house we need olive pickers, the harvest starts approx beginning of first week of November about 5/6 days depending on the weather and the number of pickers.
If you have the following skills and would be interested in staying longer to help us with maintenance mostly woodwork that would be a plus. Woodworking, gardening, wood sawing (logs for the fire) general handyman.
We offer free accomodation and food which most of the time we cook for you, exception made for breakfast. You must be dog lovers ,this would definitely suit someone who is already in Europe and particularly in the France/Italy area to reduce your travelling expenses. If you don't have your private transportation we will be able to pick you up on arrival and drop you off on departure.
Please only reply if you are in good physical condition and like hard work! Harvesting is quite a hard job.
Look forward to hearing from you for a Tuscan adventure.
