  Welcome to Hostel Tirana!
  
  We are a 20 bed Hostel based in Tirana, Albania. Our Hostel consists of 2 private rooms, 2 6 bed mixed dormitories, and 1 8 bed mixed dormitory. Loren is the manager of the Hostel, and we are looking for volunteers to stay with us in the coming months. We accept up to 2 volunteers at any given time, and can therefore accept couples. We are currently rated 4.2 stars on Google, 8.4 on Booking.com, and 8.5 on HostelWorld.
  
  We are seeking volunteers who can stay with us for a minimum of 2 weeks, but you are welcome to stay longer ahould this be a good fit. You must be able to speak fluent English, and if you poses other language skills, preferably Italian, Albanian, German, and French, that is a bonus. You must be friendly, kind, helpful, committed, organised, and driven. If you also have a background in Hospitality, data management, and cleaning this is an bonus.
  
  You must be IT literate and have basic computer skills. You should have experience in using Excel, Google sheets, Gmail etc. If you have experience in using Booking.com and HostelWorld (as a host), we would be very interested to hear from you.
  
  You will be required to work a maximum of 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. Every 5 days you work, you will receive 2 days off to do with what you please. The schedule is flexible, but you will usually be required from 07:30-10:30 each morning, and then a couple of hours in the afternoon or evening, depending on the workload, your personal schedule, and tasks that need completing.
  
  In exchange for your time, you will be provided with a single bed in one of our shared mixed dormitories. You will also receive breakfast each morning and have full free access to our kitchen, washing machine, and showers.
  
  You must available to stay for a minimum of 2 weeks, but we prefer our volunteers to stay 1 month or more.
  
  Please make sure you have the necessary visa requirements (if applicable), funds etc. to join us in Albania before reaching out to us.

  Ajuda

  The main tasks includes the following:
  - Managing the online booking systems via Booking.com and HostelWorld
  - Responding to guest queries via the inbox and email
  - Managing check in and check of our valued guests
  - Managing the check in book and Google sheet accordingly
  - Taking payments from guests and issuing change
  - Keeping the Hostel clean and tidy (note that we do have a professional cleaner who cleans the Hostel every day, so this is not a cleaning position)
  - Assisting guests with queries, concerns, and advise on the local area
  - Dealing with guest complaints as necessary
  
  Full training and guidance will be provided either by the host or the other volunteer.
  
  We are also keen to hear from people who have a background in social media management, photography, and videography to boost our online profile.

  Acomodação

  A single bed in one of our 6 bed mixed dormitories. Bed sheets and towels are available free of charge. We also have a laundry machine and detergent available for you to use as you wish. We also offer full free access to our stocked kitchen.

  We are based in the capital city of Albania. With your free time, you can go to local restaurants, bars, clubs, parks, museums, cinemas, shops, markets etc. and see the local sites. You can also travel outside of Tirana, which we can help you with, for your days off. Sometime we go out together for dinner and drinks.
