Hi everyone! We will have space for 1-2 workawayers later.
July and August is pretty much full =/
The main project for this year is to make some changes to the exterior of our private house, but there are also smaller tasks inside the house and outside around the property, and we plan to have 2-4 workawayers staying together with us =) -

Nice people, beautiful nature, eating together, talking about Norway or your country.
We have had a lot of workawayers here, and it is nice to try some different food and hear how people do things in other countries, and maybe learn a few words.
We are a Christian couple who pray before we eat and like to have a positive mood in the house.
Many also like to be able to try new new and practical things here, so hopefully we can both get some things done and have a nice time together =) -
Ajuda
Different things that we could need help with:
Painting
Making lunch/dinner, and keep the kitchen and house clean.
Making firewood, remove cranches and other outside tasks on the property.
For the fixing/renovation of our house we are having local tradespeople who are doing the job, but there are also some simpler tasks that we can do ourselves, and we can work together doing this.
Workawayers will not help with cleaning for paying guests in our cabin, like some reviews mention. -

There is now an apartment in the basement of the house with bathroom, bedroom og kitchen + living room.
You will either stay here, or in one of the rooms on the main floor of the house. We hope it is ok that you spend much of your free time with other workawayers, since we will not always be available to be social during the evenings. -

There are nice places to walk near the house or Kristiansand, you can check the website ut.no for recommendations.
There is a lake where we often go to, and where many go swimming!
Or you can pick some berries, borrow the canoe or just relax after getting some work done =) -

They are very nice couple,very clear about tasks needed to be done,and they live in a quiet and very nice area.The work wasn't hard,and we would take a short walk in the nearby nature after.I'd recommend Kenneth's place to anyone looking for a wholesome way to explore Norway.

Kenneth is a really good person, open minded and funny (if you understand his jokes) ;) I spent 3 weeks in the house, doing a lot of different things like fixing walls, painting, cleaning, preparing food, clearly more than a simple working experience ! So this was my first workaway-experience as well and the best start I could wish for. Kenneth is such an open-minded, kind and funny person that staying in the cabin and working with him was just a great thing to do. Profound talks possible as ironic comments- thank you for that.

This is my first experience with workaway. We agreed, that I can help in Sarons dal. Sarons dal and around is very best place. I was in Sarons Dal 1 month. Kenneth and his friends is very good poeple. I gained new experiences and improved in my English language. Often i laughed with them. Thank you very much :)

I was at the cabin for 10 days. I enjoyed my stay. I was at the cabin during the winter time. I Had a great evening with Kenneth and another Workawayer. We ate a lovely dinner made by Kenneth him self and we had a game of Poker. It was very nice.

Kenneth has a heart of gold and works on his property with passion. Altough I just stayed a couple of days with did purty much work on the teracce he was building. The aera is perfect for inspiring walks in the woods and near the lakes. I wish him the very best both spiritually and with his cabinprojects!
